First, the deck...
Electric Toaster 2000
4 Electabuzz
4 F. Magmar
3 Scyther
2 Chansey
4 Bill
4 Energy Removal
4 Plus Power
4 Item Finder
3 Professor Oak
3 Scoop Up
2 Gust of Wind
7 Electric
9 Fire
4 DCE
3 Energy Retrieval
This is version 6 Billion of my deck. Once you know a deck beter than the
back of your hand, it's easy to make minor tweaks and see how it greatly affects
the decks performance.
Yes the deck looks like a fairly uncreative Haymaker, but I've found it's a
solid deck for several reasons...
1) No resistance. Currently there are ZERO playable Pokemon with
resistance to my decks choosen Pokemon. This gaurantee's I'll consistently
deal damage no matter what.
2) Low Energy. My primary Pokemon (Electabuzz & Magmar) both
have 1 and 2 Energy attacks... rendering ER and SER almost worthless.
3) Trainers. I like 'em. They show up in all my decks posted
on the garage. I like 'em so much I included 4 Item Finders so I can use
them all over again!
This deck performs consistenly, always placing me high in a tournament.
It's meant to win by drawing prizes, when in doubt be offensive! However,
if you run into a long game, you can stall. Scrunch, Smokescreen, and
Thundershock all work well in conjunction with Scoop Up to prevent your opponent
from drawing that last prize.
Hope this helps...have fun!
