Hmm. Most energy removal decks I've seen use at least two Pokemon with energy
removing attacks--Dragonair and Golduck, although Poliwrath makes it in there
too. You've chosen to focus on trainers instead, which is not neccessarily a bad
thing. Let me have a look at it.
1) There's only one thing I see wrong with your Poke, and that's Lapras. He's a
great Pokemon, but he's not so good here. You're running a low amount of colored
energy, and Lapras requires too much colored energy in order to do anything
useful. I'm gonna make a rather drastic change here--hope you don't mind--and
recommend that you drop water for fire, putting in Magmar. I thought about
Hitmonchan, but Magmar has the lower retreat and can attack second turn for 2
energy. Other than that, I don't know that I'd change anything. You have 10
basics--not great, but not horrible, and you should be able to draw quickly
enough to avoid getting stuck with only a Dratini. You could fit in another
Basic Pokemon or two by making room elsewhere, but I wouldn't sweat it if you're
not having problems.
2) Your trainers... hmm. I can't say I like Lass, seeing as how this deck runs
on trainers itself, but that very fact guarantees that you will add a good
amount to your deck whenever you Lass. I'll leave it, but consider testing out
some of the alternate anti-decking cards, such as Gambler or Mr. Fuji. Another
thing I might do is take out a Scoop, seeing as how 3 ought to be enough, and
use the space for something else, such as another Computer Search. I think we're
about done here--all the other trainers fit well.
3) Your energy is a bit low, but I suppose it'll be enough, assuming nobody
tries to remove YOUR energy. A bit of Energy Retrieval is something to think
about if you run into problems. Otherwise, no need to worry.
My recommendations can be summed up thus: Replace Lapras with Magmar (or
possible another big basic of your choice) and change energy appropriately. The
rest is just recommendations or ideas to try. Good job, and a great deck.
