I'll field your question about Ditto straight off. Ditto is CONTINUOUSLY checking your opponent's active Pokemon to see what the heck it's supposed to be a copy of. Therefore, if Ditto has 30 damage on it, and your opponent retreats his Scyther for a Rattata, your Ditto will instantly dial its HP down to 30 and issue a scream as it collapses back into an amorphous blob. Fun, huh?

Now, let's have a look.

1) Okay. You didn't explain to me why the water Pokes were in there. People, fire and water don't combo that well. I have made a fire/water deck similar to Wizards' Lockdown, but that's somewhat different since it uses relatively low-energy Fire Pokes such as Rapidash and Magmar. And while you mention Arcanine as the backbone of your deck (*applause*) you give me no clue what the water is there for, other than a rather nebulous statement about backup and covering weakness. People, unless you're trying to actively counter your weakness (such as electric with fire, or water with grass) you're probably just as well off using Colorless. Therefore, I'm gonna make a rather drastic change and yank the Water half of your deck altogether. Hang on, this is gonna hurt. *RIP* There. Does that feel better? If you want the Water back in, write me again and I'll send you a revised fix. Anyways, start by adding another Growlithe to round out your line. Put in a few Fossil Magmars and cut Farfetch'd. Now it's time for the Dit

2) Replace the Trader with another Computer Search. And add in another Oak... trust me, you WILL need more someday, if only so the one doesn't end up in your prizes. Drop the SER for another regular Removal, and drop a GOW for yet a fourth Removal. If you have some spots left over, I highly recommend PlusPower here--it helps Magmar early, it helps Kangaskhan overcome the curse of odd-HP Pokemon, and the ability to smack up a 90-HP Poke in one shot has saved my own tail (so to speak) more than once.

3) Energy. From personal experience, I recommend going 20 Fire, 4 DCE on this one. 'Nuff said.

Good luck. Again, my objective is to take what people want and make it work, so if it's breaking your heart not to have Water in here, write me back and we'll talk it over. Barring that, you should be able to go out now and slap your friends around a bit with this deck. See ya.
