Beatdown HalfTrapper
Hey Ness. Here's my hay variant. I don't want to make a complete Trapper, so I just added a few. By the way, in Super. Smash Bros I always play as Ness. My mom says I'm cool. (she really does).

4 Magmar (fossil)
3 Electabuzz
3 Ditto
3 Scyther
Trainers: (28)
4 PlusPower
3 Professor Oak
3 Computer Search
3 Item Finder
3 Scoop Up
3 Gust of Wind
2 No Removal Gym
2 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Rocket's Sneak Attack
3 The Rocket's Trap
Energy: (19)

-------------------------------------------
Glad to hear your mom thinks you're cool... and Ness is from EarthBound, originally. That's where I got my little sideways hat from. (which according to Chris, is the reason why you may expect me to "bust into a mad rhyme" at any minute. :P )
Speaking of Ness, remember, I am NOT the Ness from mIRC. I am XNessX in mIRC.
Your Strategy
There definitely is a major flaw in the deck. It's actually the same type of flaw, and it's seen in every area of your deck: Lack of Speed. This is a Trap, if you can even call it that. It's more like half of a Trap deck, as it doesn't seem focused enough on hand destrcution. That does not work well. If you are going to Trap you need speed. You need 4 Oak, and you need more RSA, and Magmar is too slow for a Trapper, so we're going to have to get rid of the hand destruction idea.
Pokémon
I think you have one too many Magmar, 4 is just so much, you'll be drawing them all the time, you don't need 4. You also don't want 3 Ditto. Ditto's are good, but easily messed up. They're more situational, that's why you shouldn't play 3. So now that we've dropped these two, let's add a couple more Pokémon. One Erika's Jigglypuff! You've got four PlusPowers, so you can get that dreaded first turn win with all your card drawing against a 70 HP basic. Might sound "cheap," but a win's a win. You also should add one Brock's Rhyhorn, it's not too bad against Ditto, Jiggly/Wiggly and Buzz, which are all very popular.
Trainers
I like the Energy Removal counter with the gyms, but learn something now. Just because you play No Removal Gym doesn't mean you can't play Energy Removal. Play two. You can play them before the gym comes out, or just Computer Search them away if it is out, or who knows, you may even run into a situation where you are willing to discard two to remove an energy. You can also play them if your gym gets taken out. Playing No Removal Gym and no energy is very risky considering how powerful Wigglytuff is, but at least we have one Brock's Rhyhorn. (Which actually doesn't do that much, anyway.)
l think you can afford to drop a Scoop Up, and add another Oak. You should drop all your Traps, they're just not going to work. This isn't even a trap reliant deck, but you should add another RSA so you can still gain an advantage early in the game.
Also, try Bill out! It's a great card, it takes up a deck spot but allows you to get 2 cards on certain draws, if that's the way you want to look at it. Of course when the deck's low it's less useful, but Bill helps you stay fast and aggresive. Play 3, you got a couple Nightly to help decking.
Energy
Add the fourth colorless! You got Rhyhorn, Jiggly, Scyther and Ditto, and it can help with retreating. We went down on a Magmar, and have a 62 card deck as of now, so just simply drop two fire. And we're done!
BeatDown is a Stupid Name. A BeatDown deck is just like a name for a deck if it doesn't have any goal, or strategy. Ask anyone who mentions their BeatDown deck what a BeatDown deck is, then they'll answer with something stupid, like
"A Beatdown deck gets the Pokémon to attack their Pokémon faster and then attack them again, maybe even faster."
So, please, don't use the name BeatDown in a deck. It sounds vulgar, and don't say it in school. You might walk in math, "Oh, hey what have you been up to?"
"I've been workin on my beatdown deck!"
"Beatdown!?" They won't know what you're talkin about. They might give ya a detention or somethin..
Oh, sorry, I got a little carried away there. BeatDown is a stupid name!! :P
You gotta think of original friends. I would bet a nickel that no one named their deck this:
"The Rambunctious Tomfoolery of Mr. Mag E. Mar (and friends)"
Pokemon: (13)
3 Magmar (fossil)
3 Electabuzz
2 Ditto
3 Scyther
1 Erika's Jigglypuff
1 Brock's Rhyhorn
Defense against more popular cards, and an ability to take advantage of the deck's speed. (Jiggly!)
Trainers: (29)
4 PlusPower
4 Professor Oak
3 Bill
3 Computer Search
3 Item Finder
3 Gust of Wind
3 Rocket's Sneak Attack
2 Scoop Up
2 No Removal Gym
2 Nightly Garbage Run
(A little more speed, with the 4th Oak and Bills. We lose the trap idea.)
Energy: (18)
7 Lightning
7 Fire
4 Double Colorless
(Lots of Pokémon to use colorless, so lots of colorless.)
