Aloha!! You're just in time! It's Hawaiian day here in the office.
Everyone in my commercial building here felt it was so dang frigid outside
that we needed to do something before our brains crystallized. And what
better way to warm up the spirits than one big luau?
Even my secretary has gotten into it...here she comes now. Doesn't she
look cute with that grass skirt and flowered headband? Say, maybe later on
we could get some poi platter at the dentist's down the hall, or go walking
on hot coals at the New Age clinic? Or we could go down to the cafe and
catch the Beach Boys concert. (Someone down there has connections.)

Tell you what, let's fix that deck of yours first. Toss on a lei and
sandals and make your way into my office. Have a pineapple and tell me what
your problem is.

>Hello.  Listed below is my deck.  it is a combination if lightning, phycic.
>My main objective is to stall using mr. mime, chansey, or electabuzz until
>i
>can get alakazam out, and keep mr. mime as my fighting.  mewtwo is just in
>there for attack.  Zapdos and chansey can be both stall, and have a high

           Mok'liki'kalaka'muamuakalaku!! That's Hawaiian for hmmmmm....(or
deodorant. My Hawaiian is still rusty.) You want to stall AND field heavy
hitters? That isn't always easy.
The best heavy hitters are usually Basic Pokemon with no
evolutions. Electabuzz is a nice choice. The Zapdoses are probably not
though.
The Psychic creatures are pretty good, although lots of players
have become wise to the Mr. Mime strategy. Not that he sucks, but you'll
need more than just the happy clown to stall now. If you want some big
hitters, why not look to the colorless Pokemon for some? Wigglytuff is one
of the biggest menaces out there with his Ride the Wave attack. Kangaskhan
can deal a lot of pounding if you've got the Energy, plus he's got Fetch, a
teriffic ability. Chansey is a nice, last ditch attacker, good for that last
prize when you really need it. And of course, it bears mentioning that
Scyther, despite his Green color, may as well be a colorless Pokemon too.
Just don't use Swords Dance, which really isn't that helpful anyway.
I would remove the Zapdoses definitely. Electabuzz makes a nice
first out attacker, but we don't want too many Fighting weak Pokemon here,
so leave them out too. I know you originally included Electric, but they're
unnecessary for what you want to do.
Your Alakazam lineup is very wrong. In order to have any chance
of getting Alakazam out, you need to have MORE of the Basic evolutions than
the Stage 1's and Stage 2's. Usually, a ratio of 4 Basic, 3 Stage 1's and 2
Stage 2's works very well. If the creature is less important to the deck,
you can go 3-2-2.
Add another Movie Mewtwo, more Kadabras and another Alakazam.
He'll be vital to your strategy.

Now of course, there's no point...Hey!! Conga Line!! C'mon, join
in!! Here we go...(Tune of Limbo Rock) Da-da-da-da-da-dum-da
La-da-da-dum-da-dum-da...All right!! Oh, shishkebobs, for me? Thanks!
Surfing simulator in Dr. Monkeybaum's office? You bet I'll be there later!

Whew, that was fun. This is much better than when they decided
upon Yodeling Day. My ears hurt for weeks. Now where was I, oh yes...
No strategy will function without proper Trainers to back it up.
Give yourself the benefit of having the right cards when you need them. That
means 4 Bills and 2 Professor Oaks should fit into pretty much every deck
you want to build. You won't deck yourself that easily, and a good player
should know when to play his card drawing Trainers for maximum benefit.
Since Alakazam plays such a large part in this deck, I must urge
you to put in one or two Pokemon Centers. By spreading most of your damage
amongst the non-active Pokemon, you can keep the loss of Energy when using
Pokemon Center to a minimum. Heap about 80 or so damage on a Chansey with no
Energies, make your move, and viola! Damage go bye-bye, with no drawback to
you.
I'd also suggest including a few Switches to support a "fight or
flight" approach that you'll need when using this deck. Toss out a big
hitter, pull him back and stall until you can heal.

Here's what your revised deck should look like. I think I'll sing
the contents to you with this ukulele. . .Oh. My secretary just threatened
to quit if I start singing again, so I'll just kind of hum as I go.

          4 Abras
          3 Kadabras
          2 Alakazams
          2 Mewtwo Movie Promos
          2 Chanseys
          3 Scythers
          2 Kangaskhans

          4 Bills
          1 Professor Oak
          1 Item Finder
          2 Pokemon Centers
          3 Switches
          4 Gusts of Wind
          1 Computer Search

          4 Double Colorless Energies
          22 Psychic Energies

This deck can take or give a lot, depending upon your opponent. Don't
be afraid to use attacks like Fetch, Double-Edge or even Alakazam's Confuse
Ray if you can get away with it. Your approach should always be cautious
though. There's plenty an opponent can do to trick you up.

I pronounce you cured. You may leave my payment with my secretary, and
yes, I do accept Hawaiian currency. (Think about it.)
You can wander about the building if you so please and partake in the
festivities. I'm gonna take a break and go...what the?

        -SQUAWK! SQUAWK!! GIMME CRACKER!!-

Shoot, Finkelman's let his parrot get loose again! This is the 4th
time today... C'mon, I guess this is as good excuse as any to go get fat on
barbecued pork and guava juice. It's gonna be a long cold trip home.

                  Good Luck and Aloha,
                     Dr. Crash Landon
