This is the infamous deck, Slowbro's Revenge! > >Pokemon (22) >4 exeggcute >3 exeggutor >4 slowpoke >3 slowbro >3 drowzee >2 hypno >2 fossil Gastly >3 jigglypuff >Trainers (15) >4 GOW >3 potion >3 energy search >4 Pokemon center >3 Bill >Energy (19) >7 psychic >12 Grass > >My strategy in this deck is to get a Slowpoke in my hand, and a drowzee, >exeggcute, or jigglypuff, and at least one poke center. ALWAYS KEEP >SLOWPOKE ON THE BENCH!!!! If slowpoke gets hurt, slowbro won't be as >effective. My main attacker are Jigglypuff, Exeggutor, and Hypno. You >could say that Gastly is a setup pokemon for exeggutor. Get the >energies, put them on Exeggutor. Simple strategy Eh?Sounds like you've got yourself a good strategy. Hit hard and heal by moving the damage away. An effective method of winning a game. But, looking over your pokemon, I question some of the choices. Why Drowzee and Hypno? How do they help your strategy? Why Jigglypuff without the Wigglytuff? Just a couple of ones that I had noticed. Perhaps, some better pokemon to consider would be additional Fossil Gastly's or some Fossil Haunters or some Scythers? Let's see what happens if we add a few of these.
Pokemon (15 Basic + 8 Evols = 23 Total):
4 Exeggcute
3 Exeggutor
4 Slowpoke
3 Slowbro
4 Scyther
3 Gastly (Fossil)
2 Haunter (Fossil)
This deck is a little high on evolutions, but since that is the theme of your deck, we'll work with it. We remixed and added additionally grass pokemon, so we'll need to up the energy ratio. We also want to add 4 double colorless to this deck... so let's try:
Energy (20 Basic + 4 DCE = 24 Total):
Our last stage of deck construction is choosing our trainers. We've got room for just a few, (60 - 23 - 24 = 13) 13 to be exact. So, it is going to be more difficult to choose what to put in here. Obviously we want the card drawing power. Then, we need the healing power. And finally, fill the rest with some generally good use cards.
12 Psychic
8 Grass
4 Double Colorless Energy
Trainers (13 Total):
4 Bill
1 Professor Oak
1 Gambler
4 Pokemon Center
2 Gust of Wind
1 Item Finder
Best of luck to you!
