>Hi Spike! I've read over your reviews and like them
alot, so that's why I'm sending my deck to you. If
this deck stinks, >then please don't trash it in front
of everyone, but send it back 'cause I need to know.
My strategy is to get out a >Lickitung and an
Aerodactyl to stall for a while while I find
Electabuzzes and Kangas to build up. I know that I
could >use some Scyther(I don't have any), because
fighting weakness plagues this deck, but that's why
there's Aerodactyl. 1 >CPUSearch and 1 Prof. Oak may
seem like too little, but it always seems to work for
me(I always come close to >decking myself). Also, I
know that I need more Double-Colorless, and as soon as
I get them, I will put them in. Sorry >for the long
e-mail, here is my deck:

This deck doesn't stink. People, I only bash the
REALLY bad decks--you know the ones. There are many
others that I delete, yes, but this deck isn't bad at
all. It has a few tiny flaws, yes...but that's where I
come in!

1) Yes, some Scythers would be highly useful here. The
Aerodactyls aren't much good (for fighting resistance,
that is) when you consider that they evolve from a
wimpy Fossil and are hard to get in this deck. And
considering that the other nine Pokemon in this deck
are weak, fighting is going to run over you like
McCain over Bush in the N.H. primary. Let's start by
dropping the Lickitungs and adding in a Kangaskhan,
then putting in 3 Scythers. There. Just by doing that,
we have vastly improved the deck. Buzz actually might
make a better staller than Lickitung in this case--the
first attack is essentially the same, and with only
one more energy, it can deal serious damage. This is
why many people (including, grudgingly, me) consider
him to be probably the best basic around. Of course, I
heard you when you said you don't have any Scythers.
But I'm recommending them anyway. In the meantime, use
Farfetch'd or something. The bottom line is, you NEED
fighting resistance here.

2) Your trainers need a bit of work. They start out
strong, but toward the end they degenerate into
singles. Start by replacing the Pokemon Trader with
another Search. Computer Search doesn't make you deck
(well, it shouldn't...hehe) and you need to be able to
get Mysterious Fossils and other trainers. Now make
room for another Oak...perhaps by dropping a GOW. I
know you're coming close to decking, but it's far
better to have Oak and not use it than to need it and
not have it.  Super Energy  Removal is good in this
deck--make no mistake--but you need at least one more
to run effectively. I would take it out, since you
don't seem to have space to re-work it, and add in
another Fuji, which is excellent in this deck. You
could use Scoop instead, but if you're having decking
problems, Fuji seems the way to go.

3) As you said, DCE works well here. When you get
some, go to 18 electric and 4 DCE. If you need space
elsewhere in the deck, you could drop a couple more
electric energy--with as much drawing and retrieval as
you've got, you should be OK.

The number of Pokemon seemed just a tad low to me, so
I dropped another GOW on the spur of the moment to add
in a fourth Scyther. There we go. Yes, I know you're
gonna need to get your hands on 4 Scythers--and,
having experienced that need, I wouldn't wish it on
anybody else--but the fact is, he will work some
serious magic in this deck. One other thing I might
have wanted to add in was Item Finder. You could drop
a PlusPower, or maybe a couple of electric energies,
if it looks like these might help. Other than that,
we're done!
