Aha! Back from a long hiatus of un-fixes is TRC with a fix!
*Mountains crumble, cities are destroyed, California sinks* The apocalypse hath
commeth! Ok...maybe I'm over-exaggerating my importance, but yeah, after dealing
with skool and stuff, I've finally found time to do a fix, so yeah. This
is a Giovanni's Nidoking deck, and, well, I like Nidoking, so there you go.
Hello um I probably have sent you
guys this deck a little bit better from time to time I sent it to martin so yeah
but not like this its pretty much a Giovanni deck he is my favorite gym leader
he is just so cool and mellow but any ways my main goal is to get out rocket
scyther and nidoking fast and keep switching so they cant get damaged and id
they do I have a lot of healers for them so tell me what you think thank you

Man, I remember when I made a Giovanni's Nidoking deck for my
brother for the WCSC under the old modified format (or standard or whatever it's
called now). Good times, good times :). Also, I'd like to thank BondiBorg
for pointing out things my small mind missed with the fix ^_^. Anyway, on
to the fix-age.
Pokemon:
Mmmkay, first of all, you have no cleffa.
And pichu is needed too, or iggly at the very least, but I'd rather go for
pichu. Slowking = bad. Soooo....3 Cleffa, 2 Pichu, and dump 2 of each
scyther. Nidoking's the main hitter here, so make his line a 4-4-3 one. How're
we gonna do that? Patience, we shall find a
way...
Trainers:
Alrighty, here's where we do our main fixin'.
Gio's Last Resort was one of my favorite cards--Nidoking's up at the brink of
death, you're opponent looks smug, play this card and watch as your opponent
cries. Now, dump the potions, bills, elms, giovanni's and copycats, because,
while good cards, aren't really necessary. In their stead we shall add 4 Comp
Searches, 4 Item Finds, another Oak, 3 Gold Berry, 3 SER and 2 NGR. Comp
and Item Finder are versitile--you can get what you need or get back what you
need. Gold berry's for healing, SER to work with the recycle energies
we're going to put in there, and NGR because this deck discards a bit =\.
Buut, the question is, why double gust and not regular gust of wind? Basically,
it fits in with your whole "hit and run" idea. If you play the deck right,
you'll only need to get 1 nidoking in play, and then make your bench free
retreaters or R. Scyther. Nidoking has a heavy retreat, so if he befalls a
status effect or gets a bit of damage on him and you need time to recuperate,
double gust him outta there and wait for your healing card while either scyther
deals damage/stalls.
Energy:
Alright, we're going to be dropping
the full heals for recycle and bumping that count to 2. Dropping another DCE and
4 Grass energy will complete the fix.
And heeeeeeere's the deck!
