Thanks for the deck, Chris Grose. Let's see what advice I can offer you
so you can beat that brother of yours next time! ;)
Alright, we'll start with what you have currently:
Pokemon (15 Basic + 10 Evolutions = 25 Total):
2 Lapras
2 Psyduck
1 Magikarp
1 Staryu
1 Starmie
1 Squirtle
1 Wartortle
1 Omanite
1 Omastar
1 Articuno
1 Eevee
1 Vaporeon
2 Krabby
2 Kingler
2 Horsea
1 Seadra
1 Mr. Mime
1 Gastly
1 Haunter
1 Gengar
Energy? (Guessing 19 Total)
Trainers (16 Total):
1 Bill
1 Super Potion
3 Recycle
1 Lass
1 Pokemon Breeder
2 Switch
3 Energy Search
1 Energy Retrieval
1 Gust of Wind
1 Pokedex
1 Mysterious Fossil
Alright! Looks like you've got a good balance of pokemon/energy/trainers.
But you are pretty spread out on which pokemon you are playing with... and
playing with only 2 Basic Psychic pokemon makes it tough to play them at all.
I'm going to provide you with two possible decks you could create out of what
you sent me, assuming you have or can trade for a few common/uncommons. In
the left column is a pure water/colorless deck that is fairly similar to what
you are playing now. In the right column, I'll provide you with a stronger
water/psychic deck, but you'll have to trade for some rares in order to make it.
Here they are!
Pokemon:
Pokemon:
(15 Basic + 7 Evols = 22 Total) (15
Basic + 7 Evols = 22 Total)
2 Lapras (great water pokemon) 2

4 Psyduck
4 Psyduck
3 Golduck
3 Golduck
4 Staryu
3 Mr. Mime
3 Starmie
4 Gastly (Fossil)
1 Articuno
3 Haunter (Fossil)
2 Eevee
2 Eevee
1 Vaporeon
1 Vaporeon
2 Lickitung
Now, we'll mix energy to go with the pokemon we have chosen. I highly
recommend to all people who are building decks to use 20 Basic Energy and 4
Double Colorless. If you don't have any Double Colorless Energy, just
substitue 4 additional water energies.
Energy (20 Basic + 4 DCE = 24 Total) Energy (20 Basic + 4 DCE = 24
Total)
20 Water
11 Water
4 Double Colorless Energy
9 Psychic
4 Double Colorless Energy
And now we'll add some trainers to round out you deck. We've got (60 - 22
- 24 = 14) slots left to fill with trainer cards. On the left is a list of
Trainers that are common/uncommons. On the right is a list of better
trainers for this deck, but some are rares, so you'd have to trade to get them.

Hope you can take some of this advice and make good use of it! And don't
forget to mail me back if you beat your brother *^_^*
