The Denialator!
If you wanted me to e-mail this with lines beginning with a >, e-mail me
back and I'll do so. Please help me out, thanx. I really like your fixes on
peoples' decks.
I am a fairly experienced player with a good amount of tourney playable
cards, but I wanted to make this Haymaker Variation to deal with all the
other haymakers in my tourneys. Now presenting, what I call, da da da daaaa,
The Denialator!
(12 Pokemon)
4 Fossil Magmar
4 Electabuzz
4 Scyther
(27 Trainers)
4 Bill
3 Prof. Oak
4 Energy Removal
3 Super Energy Removal
4 Gust of Wind
4 Pluspower
3 Lass
2 Item Finder
(21 Energy)
10 Fire Energy
8 Electric Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy
Well, my strategy is like all other haymakers, deal out quick damage and
get fast K.O.'s. I tried getting a couple of Muks in this deck, but it used
too much room and eventually to me, seemed out of place in a good haymaker.
Bill and Oak are for card drawing. Energy Removal and SER make it almost
impossible to fight back. GOW and pluspower are for a surprise kill. Item
Finder reuses all kinds of trainers, and Lass is a great "wrench" to throw in
their plans. I would use all my useful trainers, then use Lass.
Against a classic haymaker or a psychic variation, this deck could go up
in flames or vice-versa on them. I think it's mostly about the luck when
playing haymaker against haymaker.
Against Rain Dance (or Wiggly), Lass will throw all their trainers back
in their deck on turn 1 or 2, giving Electabuzz and Scyther a chance of
victory. Energy Removal + Lass works well against Rain Dance (or Wiggly).
Without Oak, Computer Search, or Bill, they got nothing to work with.
Against Damage Swap, I will hit them with a Lass as soon as I see Abra to
block Pokemon Breeder (and Alakazam). If they get Alakazam out too fast for
me to get a Lass (or used a Kadabra), I will hit them with my best attacks
until it looks like they're gonna Mr Fuji or Pokecenter or Scoop up, etc., I
them with Lass and finish all their Damaged pokemon with mine and use Gust of
Wind if necessary.
Against a Wildfire or a No-energy stall, I'll use my weak attacks to make
them use energy removals and scoop ups, but I'd save up my trainers, then,
when my deck will be wildfired or finished in a few turns, I use Lass. If I
use all my Lass, I can Item Finder to do it again and again. If all goes
correctly, their deck will run out first.
I only posted my strategies against the usual archetypes. I hope there
aren't any BIG problems with this deck, but please help me out. You can email
me at CyberkidX5@aol.com. Thanx a lot!
P.S. - Please put this online as "The Denialator". Thanx again!

Overview
Wow... You can tell by the effort that this is from someone who wanted their deck posted.
That's why it's being fixed. The deck itself looks pretty good- very good, in fact.
This'll be a quick fix.
Pok閙on
I don't think any changes are necessary. You could take out a couple and add two Chansey,
or you could mess around with the families a bit, but it's really just a matter of opinion.
It looks good enough as it is. They cover each other's weaknesses pretty well. On second
thought, let's drop one Scyther to free up a space for Trainers.
Trainers
Once again, it already looks fine. The only suggestion I'd make is to add Com. Search.
Take out a Gust of Wind and add three Com. Search. Past that, your Trainers look great.
Energy
Let's drop one Fire Energy to take the deck back down to 60 cards.
Pokemon (11)
4 Fossil Magmar
4 Electabuzz
3 Scyther
Trainers (29)
4 Bill
3 Prof. Oak
3 Com. Search
4 Energy Removal
3 Super Energy Removal
3 Gust of Wind
4 Pluspower
3 Lass
2 Item Finder
Energy (20)
9 Fire Energy
8 Electric Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy
It didn't need a whole lot of work, but I wanted to post it because it was thorough and
obviously took some effort. Nice deck, and Good luck!
