Hi Beedrill, this is Colin. I've been working on an Erikas Vileplume deck for about 2 weeks now. I've playtested and win most of the time. It's in the rocket-on format for the WCSTS QT's. I want a deck no one will expect. I decided Erika's vileplume since it's awsome pokemon power to inflict confusion. Also, to take down feraligatr, pupitar and larvitar.
Well here it is.
POKEMON- 21
4 Erika's Oddish 50 HP
3 Erika's Gloom 70 HP
3 Erika's Vileplume
2 Yanma
3 Grimer (TR)
3 Dark Muk
3 Cleffa
TRAINERS- 23
4 Elm
4 Mary
4 Focus Band
3 Erika's Maids
2 Double Gust
2 Super Energy Retreival
2 Resistance Gym
2 Nightly Garbage Run
ENERGY- 16
16 Grass Energy
Well there's the deck.
Thanx Colin a.k.a ~~~ ShiZzNitS
Hello Colin. Great original idea going with Erikas Vileplume =P. Its power is really fun and can certainly annoy your opponent. I’ll bust out my tools and tune up this deck for perfection!
Pokemon: The pokemon look just fine, do not touch them at all!
Trainers: A little work here but not too much. From ECSTS I have had experience with Mary and it doesn’t work that well. Drop all 4 of them. Also drop 1 Focus Band and both Super Energy Retrievals. With these 7 spots open, add in 3 Mistys Wrath, another Double Gust, another Resistance Gym and 2 Sabrinas Gaze. Your trainers should flow much better with the Wrath and Gaze and should keep you safe from those pesky Steelix. With that wrapped up just a minor change with your energy and we’re done!
Energy: Drop 2 Grass energy for 2 Full Heal Energy. This will help you out a lot with Erikas Gloom’s Vile Smell attack. Here’s the final look at your deck:
Pokemon: (21)
4 Erika's Oddish 50 HP
3 Erika's Gloom 70 HP
3 Erika's Vileplume
2 Yanma
3 Grimer (TR)
3 Dark Muk
3 Cleffa
Trainers: (23)
4 Professor Elm
3 Misty’s Wrath
3 Resistance Gym
3 Double Gust
3 Erika’s Maids
3 Focus Band
2 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Sabrina’s Gaze
Energy: (16)
14 Grass
2 Full Heal Energy
Good luck at your qualifier, hopefully you’ll win the free trip =).
