You know, sometimes it starts to seem like my column has degenerated into simply
a place to post letters. Granted, that's all I Get Letters is sometimes, but at
least it's thereby serving its intended purpose. My column was supposed to be my
own little corner where I could speak my mind and vent. It doesn't seem like
that anymore. I'll have to put some thought into this and decide what I want to
be doing in this space. Not this week, though... this is the wrong week for
coherent thought.

Why would I want to kill Spike? Spike is my friend. Besides, he warned me about
you.

Why do you hate Pikachu? Pikachus are nice. Some of my best friends are pikachus.
Even if they never can be as cute as yours truly...

You have to earn the respect of your Pokemon. Badges do not neccessarily
translate into respect. The best advice I can give you is to keep working with
your Rapidash. Gradually, she will come to trust you and will follow your
commands in battle.

>Hey vulpix! I just wanted to tell you that your the best! your bashes are

you, which has been done)
>mewtwo: <me, why didn't you ask me?>

>mewtwo:<you did, but the kids out there got boring>
>me: I didn't ask you cause your ego would get in the way.
>mewtwo: <I'm to good to have an ego>
>me: anyway, please answer me, me and mewtwo will be waiting.
>mewtwo: < I won't, he's not better than me>
>me: just let it slide mewtow, just let it slide.
>C you later
Who's the best Pokemon to build a deck around? Well... if you're asking the
question in purely pragmatic and mercenary terms... then obviously there are a
few Pokemon who can make decks stand on their own. Blastoise, Alakazam, and
Wigglytuff come to mind, with Blastoise probably edging out the other two by
just a bit. But a good deck can be built around virtually any Pokemon, which I
believe is the exact same message that Spike has been trying to get through
people's heads ever since he first took this job all those long months ago.
And now, my corner is done for this week. I'm going to send this in, then go
jump into Spike's lap and make him scratch my ears while we watch TV.
