New to the game, huh? Well, let me welcome you. This deck shows considerable strength for someone who's just started playing. Let me see if I can help you out a bit and maybe teach you some basics along the way.

1) Your Pokemon are good. I like to see people playing with these Grass-weak fighting Pokemon-- with Scyther running rampant, it takes a lot of guts. As you might have been able to tell from the Haymaker clones running around, individuality is slightly lacking in the current environment. However, I really think you need to drop one of your evolution families-- three is a bit much. It's your choice which to drop.
I'd probably go with dropping the Sandslash family. Not that I don't like the little guy, but the HP and unreliability of attacks make them not-so-great, especially with multiple other families contending for the space. High retreat hurts Rhydon a lot, but Rhyhorn is an OK starter and can deal 30 damage on the second turn. Try and use Horn Attack whenever you can--only use Ram as a last resort or for a one-turn kill. Now that we've cut Sandslash, you will want to drop a Dragonair and add in a Dragonite. A 4-3-2 is much more efficient than 4-4-1. This assumes you want to use Dragonite at all-- you COULD take him out, as Dragonair would be fine by himself. You do need colorless of some sort, though, to get around fighting resistance. Now, you'll want a few strong haymaking basics. Some Hitmonchans should do the trick. If you are new, don't despair at not being able to get these rares quickly. Machop could be use to fill the bill in the meantime. That should be all here.

2) Hmm. You're off to a good start with those Trainers of yours. The first thing you would like to do is to drop Switch and GOW to 3 each. They are both great Trainers, but 4 of each is overkill. Add in another Bill right away, then add two Computer Searches. Next come 4 Energy Removals-- great disruption card in any deck, and common to boot! That about finishes you up. If we have any other space (and I don't know until I've added stuff up at the end) I'd like to add a couple of PlusPowers. These can come in VERY handy.

3) You can use so much DCE here, why not drop a Fighting for a 4th DCE. You're actually a couple of cards over the limit (your original deck was a bit over, I think) so drop down to 20 fighting. This should still be plenty.

Nice deck. You'll have problems with fighting resistance, no question about it, so just use the dragons and try to work past it. If it gets bad enough, you may want to consider metagaming a bit. Sprinkling Fire or Electric, depending on the exact nature of your problem, could help you. But don't worry about this unless you need to.
