Arithmetic
Hey Ness. I am playing the deck you posted on your CotD section, "Speeding Speed Accepting Lightning," and when I talked to you before you said it's changed with Neo a lot, and with experimenting, and you now call it Arithmetic? (which I don't get anyway..) But could you help me edit the deck so it's up to date with current environment?

Arithmetic, if you're wondering, is the stupid little name I came up for with a Zapdos/Metal energy deck. The name comes from the idea of how well the deck does with with simple math.. thinking about the effects of Lightning energy, metal energy, PlusPowers, and Gold Berry is just all simple addition and subtraction, but worth thinking about for the new version of this deck..
Pokémon
Arithmetic plays a totally different line now, of no colorless (besides Cleffa and the type-changing Ditto) to counter the deck's worst enemies, Clefable, Chansey, and Wigglytuff. (By playing no colorless we can then play Sprout Tower)
The new line should look like this:
4x Rocket's Zapdos
3x Electabuzz
3x Scyther
3x Cleffa
1x Ditto
That's somethin I want to try out.. the Ditto is anti Sneasel. Notice how we have to play high basic and more Scyther to protect Cleffa, and we max out on Zapdos, as the deck is now focused on it.
Trainers
The trainer line is way different. First of all, I'm now trying to play a Billless lightning deck. Try it out. Drop all the Bills.
The Sneak Attacks are all now Lasses for the Eeeeeeek combo, and to add cards to your deck later if necessary.
Super Energy Removal isn't always good early game, so we went down to 2.
The Defenders became Gold Berries, which are superior to Defender, and there are 3, not 2, now.
We play the 2 Sprout Towers to protect us from Wiggly, Clefable, Chansey, and to take out other gyms, but drop an Item Finder and a PlusPower as 3 should be enough. The 4 PlusPowers and Item Finders were only for the stupid Jigglypuff which is long gone.
Put in a goop gas, to help against Dratini, Slowking, whatever..
Energy
Energy wise we have to play 2 metal for the Zapdos combo, 2 full heal since this deck has struggled against status effects, 2 colorless for Ditto/Scyther, and 9 lightning.
My current Arithmetic, now yours...
---Pokémon (14)---
4x Rocket's Zapdos
3x Electabuzz
3x Scyther
3x Cleffa
1x Ditto
---Trainers (31)---
4x Professor Oak (speed is a necessity)
3x Item Finder (stay fast, use these to get whatever you need for knockouts)
3x PlusPower (the 3rd Plasma is a KO, the Electroburn with a metal is too)
3x Lass (Eeeeeeek combo, slows your opponent down)
3x Computer Search (anything. the oak, the lass, the plus.. whatever)
3x Gold Berry (overall broken, great electroburn combo)
3x Energy Removal (just a good card, slow your opponent's threats)
2x Super Energy Removal (plasma combo, get off a metal you don't need)
2x Gust of Wind (get an injured basic off their bench for a KO)
2x Sprout Tower (fights the deck's worst enemies)
1x Nightly Garbage Run (energy conservation, anti decking)
1x Scoop Up (a damaged, energyless Buzz/Zapdos can use this)
1x Goop Gas Attack! (it's a crazy world out there.. be prepared)
---Pokémon (15)---
9x Lightning
2x Double Colorless
2x Full Heal
2x Metal
Good luck and have fun.
