Here it is, I owed you guys a good deck fix.  It's organized, it's explanative, and it has wise tips on how to beat the ever-so-dreaded Feraligatr in modified...

Modified Slowking

'Sup Jason?  I know you've been talking about Slowking regaining some power against Brock's Mankey..  but I don't see how.  Balloon Berry doesn't let you play Focus Band or Gold Berry at the same time, and your opponent can easily Taunt a Slowking that doesn't have Balloon Berry.  I call my deck "Modified Slowking" because it's for the modified format and has Slowking.   (ooo.. clever kid.)  Please help add some strength and creativity to this deck.

My friends say that my deck is the best, but maybe you can make it even better.

Well, your deck was probably the best deck in the state it was sent in all the E-mails I received (yes it's that bad).   Anyway, the first thing you need to do is take out your Revelations Slowpokes.

If it existed, I might not make you take them out...   in no point throughout your rambling incoherent E-mail did anything you say even come close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.  I offer you no more help.. and may god have mercy on your soul...

...........................................................

=/  =/  =/

Okay, fine, we'll try to fix this deck.  This may take a while.
/me puts on a pot of coffee (despite not liking coffee.)

Okay, first things first.  Let's look at your PoKey-MoN! (british accent added)

Pokémon mon mon mon mon mon mon:

Okay, seriously, the simplest way to put this is " =/ "
Your deck is ludicrously flawed, especially in this area.  Despite the Slowpoke that doesn't exist and the fact that you got Murkrow happy, there's still more problems to take care of.   First of all, Umbreon is the thing to use with Slowking.  It turns Igglybuffs into things that work as a disadvantage for your opponent by becoming one-hit knock out victims.  Cleffa, Elekid, Magby, they're all vulnerable to Umbreon, especially when benched.  Umbreon actually can become a heavy damage doer to compete with Feraligatr and Steelix when attacking the Defending Pokémon with darkness energy attached.   I suggest the promo Eevee for the Eevee to use simply because evolution is already in this deck and any other good modified deck.  You can get Umbreons out immediately after benching Eevee this way.   But we're going to have to play psychic energy and you know what that means- we have room for Espeon.

For the love of god, don't make me say which Umbreon I'm referring to either. 4 Promo Eevees, 3 Umbreon, and 1 Espeon (holo).  Espeon isn't bad versus any Blaine's Arcanine that can show up.  And if they don't evolve their basics early yet attach enough energy Espeon can take them out.

Now, take the Murkrows down to 2 (and make sure they're all Neo: Genesis too.. *rolls eyes*) because we're going to have to make room for the psychic stuff in here.

Now, you said to be creative with something, so let's try 2 Misdreavus from the new Revelations set.  If we play that we're going to need a Drowzee or two to work with it.  This thing can take down the fully powered ANYTHING and allows Slowking's Pokémon to compete with the heavy Stage 2 Pokémon like Feraligatr, Erika's Victreebel, Crobat, Typhlosion.. anything that can show up.

Also, since we're going to play psychic energy, try making 3 of the Slowpokes the Rocket Slowpoke (and 1 NG).  This allows Slowking to get going fast, and although it seems weird, a quick attacking and confusing Slowking can be effective.

Drop the other Murkrow and that ludicrously (my new word) unnecessary
Elekid. If I was an Elekid, I would seriously jump off a building.  Seriously, look at the thing.  Elekid is a moron. =/

I never thought I would ever say this in my life, but to avoid playing 18 basics.. DROP a
Cleffa.  (SUPER GASP!)

So let's check out our Pokéy-mon (british accent on that pron. mind you)...

4x Slowpoke (3TR, 1NG) 4x Slowking (NG)
4x Eevee (P) 3x Umbreon (H) 1x Espeon (H)
3x Cleffa (NG)
2x Murkrow (NG)
2x Misdreavus (NR)
2x Drowzee (TR)
25 Pokey-mons. =/

Energy
Okay, Midreavus needs 3 for Perish.. Espeon 2 and C.. so we should be able to get away with 3.  Remember attacking with Slowking is optional but it can work, especially with our stupid little Rocket Slowpoke.  I say 8 psychic.  Keep 4 Darkness, 3 Rainbow, and 1 recycle energy for a total of 16 energy.

8x Psychic Energy
4x Darkness Energy
3x Rainbow Energy
1x Recycle Energy
16 Energy

Trainers
Okay, your trainer line is screwed bad.  Let's just start over, alright? =/
First of all, you need 4 Professor Elm.  You simply need this drawing to win.  Then 2 Misty's Wrath to help get your Slowkings out early.  You also need 3 Focus Band so Umbreon and Misdreavus can stand a chance versus all the popular one-hit KOing Pokémon used in this format.  A couple Nightly Garbage Run are still needed.

Now for the exciting part =/ .  Balloon Berry.  You have some weird belief above that it won't help you versus Mankey.  You're wrong. =/  Add four Balloon Berry.  Hold them im your hand if a Slowking is forced active play one on it and retreat.  With Balloon Berry, it is finally possible for a Slowking deck to make effective use of Double Gust by Double Gusting, having them send out your Slowking (or anything with high retreat), then you can play a Balloon Berry and retreat.. and Mean Look it if it doesn't do damage or KO it with Espeon/Umbreon or set it up for a KO with Misdreavus if it is a threat. I'd say to add 3 Double Gust.  Early game you don't need Balloon Berry to make effective use of it.

I suggest a Chaos gym to make Mean Looks more effective versus baby Pokémon.  As for the default gym all ya need is one Sprout Tower.

4x Professor Elm
4x Balloon Berry
3x Focus Band
3x Double Gust
2x Misty's Wrath
2x Nightly Garbage Run
1x Chaos Gym
1x Sprout Tower

61 cards..  let's go back and drop something we added.  You can drop a psychic.

=/  -1 Psychic.

4x Slowpoke (3TR, 1NG)
4x Slowking (NG)
4x Eevee (P)
3x Umbreon (H)
1x Espeon (H)
3x Cleffa (NG)
2x Murkrow (NG)
2x Misdreavus (NR)
2x Drowzee (TR)
----------
7x Psychic Energy
4x Darkness Energy
3x Rainbow Energy
1x Recycle Energy
----------
4x Professor Elm
4x Balloon Berry
3x Focus Band
3x Double Gust
2x Misty's Wrath
2x Nightly Garbage Run
1x Chaos Gym
1x Sprout Tower
-----------

I want to make sure everyone understands this deck not only has an advantage versus Feraligatr decks but a significant one, and should beat Feraligatr consistently when played right.  They are forced to evolve to Gatr to compete with Umbreon/Misdreavus/Espeon and at that point, Slowking stops their ability to add large amounts of water to the discard after Riptiding.  (And if they did dare play the Parasect, Mean Look it and win.)   If Igglybuff gets in the way you can still sacrifice any amount of Umbreons or Murkrows you must to take them out, as after they are gone, Feraligatr is not capable of doing large amounts of damage consistantly.

The deck, unfortunately, is very, very vulnerable to Erika's Victreebel / Murkrow.. as the Slowkings are a target for Murkrow.  Versus Victreebel it wouldn't be considered stupid to not even try to get out Slowkings if they have a decent start and drawing ability.
