Other info you feel is important: This deck works best if Psyduck is first with a few turns of having a headache, to disrupt the trainer strategy of the other player. Golduck's Hyper Beam keeps the energy limited on the opponent, and Dewgong's just such a good attacker. Mewtwo provides support, with absorbtion and energy flow to keep the energy where I can use it.
Hey, Dave!
Scott saw your email come in on my account and recognized you from PA... =) Of course, that is not the only reason I am fixing your deck. I really like the basis for your Non-Archetype Deck, and thought it would be fun to give a tune up to. Since you play a lot of a-typical decks in your area, this should be a fun deck to run.
Pokémon:
Your Pokémon base is great! I'll change very little, other than take off one M2 Promo to make a space for a trainer.
Trainers:
Your trainer base is also fairly good. There are a few changes I'm going to make that should make your deck a bit more efficient. I think changing out Energy Search for some Energy Retrievals will work really well for you. Also, adding in some Nightly Garbage Runs will recycle any knocked out Pokémon and discarded energy you may lose. Also helps out a bit to guard against decking. Of course, Electabuzz is your bane (weakness to Electric), and you really need Gust of Wind to eliminate him with Mewtwo Promo. Everything else looks good.
Energy:
With Energy Retrieval and Nightly Garbage Run, plus a decent amount of search in a slower environment, you really can reduce your energy count.
