Bah, I'm in this play
at school because I figured it'd be something fun to do after school... But, of
course, it turns out the new director's a controlling MANIAC who holds 10 hour
rehearsals on SATURDAYS leaving me with no time to myself. But it'll all be over
in a week, and I can't be more happy. So I'm really sorry I haven't been fixing
stuff lately, but I'm going to try to keep up with stuff and everything. So
while I'm really stressed out at the moment, I've got pokemon and my birthday to
look forward to, so for the moment I retain my sanity. Alright, I've babbled
enough, here's the deck.
Hi my name is Amyn
I'd really appreciate it if I
could get this deck to become lethal
I guess my beedrill, buk, caterpie and
venusaur are supposed to do the trick. My comupter search and pokeball are
supposed to find the evolutions, and my blianes quiz can get me at least 2 extra
drawing cards per turn.
1 bulbasaur
2 erikas bulbasaur
1 Ivysaur
1 Kogas ivysaur
1 venusuar
3 weedle
2 kakuna
1
beedrill
2 caterpie
2 metapod
2 butterfree
1 grimer
1 kogas
grimer
1 muk
1 pokemon trader
1 recycle
2 pokeball
3
super potion
2 potion
1 blaines quiz #2
1 revive
1 super rod
2 computer search
1 item finder
19 grass energy
4 double
colorless energy
1 potion energy
P.S. Tell me the truth, Is my deck
any good?
Am I allowed to use Blaines' Quiz more than once per turn?
Do
I have enough energy?
Once again thanks
Well, in my opinion, there is no truly
"good" deck, more people are coming up with new ideas and stuff, so a deck can
ALWAYS be fixed, even if it's just removing a card or two. However, your deck
seems like it needs a taaad bit more of a fix than others, but that's ok, it's
my job to fix decks. You ARE allowed to use Blaine's Quiz more than once as it
doesn't state otherwise on the card, but I don't really like using those cards,
there are better draw cards out there. With energy....Well, you've got more than
enough =\. I usually like having 10-15 energy in my decks, depending on the
overall strategy.
Pokemon:
The main problem with the deck is that it
lacks focus. There's so many mad singles in here it's unbelievable. Having only
one or two of a card really sucks as your odds of drawing it decrease
significantly. And if it's an important card.... So basically, since you've got
SO many pokemon here, it's basically "Let's center the deck around our favorite
pokeyman!" In this case, I'm going to choose beedrill since you've already got
the line somewhat supported already. I'm not sure which beedrill you're
using, but try to get the Neo Discovery one. It's flippy, but that poisen is
wicked. And it has free retreat and a 1 energy attack cost, pretty nice. So, uh,
scap everything except the Beedrill line, and boost your weedle count to 4
(spike stab weedle's best), leave the kakuna's the same, and up the beedrill
count to 4. Since we'll be adding breeder's later and beedrill can attack for
one energy, the line can afford to be 4-2-4. Add in 3 Cleffa, 2 Tyrouges, and 3
Igglybuffs (to gaze slowking's aggrivating power) and we're done with the
pokeys.
Trainers:
Ouch, having decent trainers is the key to a good
deck. Again, you really need to center your trainers and consider what's worth
it's spot and what isn't. Most of the cards require flips or some other sort of
luck, and can you honestly depend on a card in a sticky spot which can't
guarantee you to what you want? So, again, scrap everything but the computer
search, which we're upping to 4, and the Item Finder which we're upping to 3.
We'll also add 3 Breeder, 3 oak, 2 Copycat, 4 Gust (although, to capitalize on
beedrill's free retreat double gust wouldn't be a bad idea either), 3 Lass (to
mess up your opponent's opening hand) and 3 SER (you can easily discard one
energy as it only takes you 1 energy to use your cool attack). Work with
this area the most and adjust to the metagame in your area.
Energy:
Like I said above, you've got to much basic energy. I'm
dropping it down to 10, as once more, you only need 1 grass to attack. Add in 3
recycles to combo with SER as well, and I think your set. I'm leaving DCE in
there in case there's that far off chance where you feel like attacking with pin
missle.
*Looks over deck* I think that's about it....
*Insert Ingenious Name for a Beedrill Deck Here As the Deck
Mech is To Lazy To Come Up With One*
Pokemon: 18
4 Weedle (Neo 2)
2 Kakuna
4 Beedrill (Neo 2)
3 Cleffa (Genisis)
3 Igglybuff (Neo

2 Tyrouge
Trainers: 25
3 Breeder
3 Oak
2 Copycat
4 Gust
3 Lass
3 SER
4 Computer Search
3 Item

Alright, that looks good, you should really experiment to see
what works for you, though. Oh, and for future reference to all who send me
decks, if there are multiple versions of the card you're using, please state
which set it's from or at least what it's main attack is. Don't make me do
more than I have to, please, thinking is painful =\. Anyway, good luck
with the deck Amyn!
