Here's a rather
interesting idea from Super Tyranitar, once again
involving Walrein. However, he is instead using an
unreleased card, just about to come out in Japan, even!
Yes, I'm talking about: Milotic ex.
"Hey There, i need help with this deck, and i know
everyone turns to ya these days, but if you get time,
please help me...
16 Water energy
3 Surprise! Time Machine
2 Rare Candy
1 Switch
2 Island Cave
4 Steven's Advice
2 Copycat
3 Bill's Maintenance
1 Professor Oak's Research
3 PokéDex Handy 909
3 Celio's Network
4 Dunsparce SS
2 Milotic Ex
3 Milotic HL
3 Feebas HL
3 Walrein HL
2 Sealeo HL
3 Spheal HL
Okay the strategy is to get Milotic Ex powered up and
send up, hopefully third turn, so i can attatch an
energy and move it to another feebas and then get a
regular Milotic out...so its Milotic Swarm..."
Nice deck idea! However, I have to alert the readers
just what milotic ex does, as it won't be released for
another 5 months, I hear:
"Milotic EX 130HP
Pokebody:Marvel Scale
All players may not use technical machines, and all
technical machines attached to pokemon must be
discarded.
Wrap W 30
During your opponent's next turn, the defending pokemon
may not retreat."
Now...to your ACTUAL deck =x
"
4 Dunsparce SS
2 Milotic Ex
3 Milotic HL
3 Feebas HL
3 Walrein HL
2 Sealeo HL
3 Spheal HL"
Okay, I think for this, we may need to revisit a few
tried-and-true Wal-tic strategies. Go only 2-2 on the
milo/milo ex; i think 5 is overkill. Also, your Walrein
line seems neglected, when that's the meat of the deck.
Consider the following:
-1 Milotic
+1 Spheal
+1 Walrein
That way, you've still got the "punch" of the Milotic/ex
combo, yet you also have Walrein at your disposal much
more often, and in large numbers.
"3 Surprise! Time Machine
2 Rare Candy
1 Switch
2 Island Cave
4 Steven's Advice
2 Copycat
3 Bill's Maintenance
1 Professor Oak's Research
3 PokéDex Handy 909
3 Celio's Network"
Let's edit that draw/search line a little bit.
Sometimes, it is just absolute overkill to run 16!
You've got a good idea of what to go for though, so
that's excellent. You really don't need surprise! time
machine that often; I think we can throw most of those
out, since you can't even use milo's power unless it
comes from your hand:
-2 Surprise! Time Machine
-1 Oak's Research
-1 Maintenance
-1 Steven
+1 Rare Candy
+1 Pokedex
+1 Swoop! Teleporter
I think that the fixes within your trainers compliment
the ones done with the Pokemon, especially when it comes
to the added line of Walrein. There are now enough
candies to swarm efficiently, Pokedex, an all-important
card, is maxed, and Swoop! can surprise an opponent
big-time! Your opponent will just be shocked when you
turn a dunsparce into a Feebas, then evolve to Milotic
ex, and own the game!
"16 Water energy"
Unlike most deckfixes, where the player uses too much
energy, I think you just need to do this, and you're
fine =)
+1 Water Energy
Here is what the FINAL decklist should look like:
Pokemon (21):
4 Dunsparce SS
3 Feebas HL
2 Milotic ex (unreleased)
2 Milotic HL
4 Spheal HL
2 Sealeo HL
4 Walrein HL
Trainers (22):
4 Pokedex Handy 909
3 Steven's Advice
3 Celio's Network
3 Rare Candy
2 Copycat
2 Bill's Maintenance
2 Island Cave
1 Surprise! Time Machine
1 Swoop! Teleporter
1 Switch
Energy (17):
17 Water
Well now, isn't that a bite to eat when this set, not
even in Japan yet, will be released in May/June??? Good
luck Super T-tar!
Keep your eyes peeled for more decks, and other fun
topics of interest, guys.
