1) There's two things I can say for Pidgeot: (1) he's
not the worst Stage 2 out there*, and (2) he can be
annoying as hell. Pure annoyance isn't always enough
to win a game, though. I have to say that I would
rather take out Pidgeot and use the card slots to beef
up the dragon family, which is looking sick. Other
cards to take out include Snorlax (Kangaskhan is
better) and both Clefable and Raticate (not half bad
cards, but we can do better.) What to stick in? First
of all, Dragonite needs to be a 4-3-2. There is just
no real way to run a good Stage 2 with anything less.
You need to either drop a Spearow or add in a Fearow,
we'll figure out which after we see how many slots
we're going to need. More Kangaskhan are always nice.
Now comes a decision to make. If you are simply
looking for Pokemon with colorless attacks, you
definitely want Scyther. If you are sticking to
colorless Pokemon on principle (which is fine, though
it won't win many tournaments) then I'd recommend even
more Kanga, or maybe Farfetch'd (jeez...I can't
believe I just said that.) I'm going to go ahead and
recommend Scyther, 'kay?

2) Your trainers need some work. Clefairy Doll goes.
Full Heal goes. Pokemon Center goes. You get points
for not making me give you my "Computer Search is
Good" lecture. Add in 3-4 Bills, 2 Oaks, and another
Energy Removal. The super potions can stay unless we
need space.

3) If it's a colorless deck, you're right, the energy
color doesn't really matter...UNLESS you use Scyther.
If you do decide to use him, why not make all the
colored energy grass, just for the heck of it? You
never know when a Swords Dance will come in handy.

I decided to put in 2 GOWs, because I had the space
and they could always come in handy. Dragonite's
Power, and Scyther and Fearow's low retreat, lessen
the need for Switch. Energy is not so critical here,
because every single one of your Pokemon can use DCE,
but if you need more, you can take out Scyther or some
Super Potions (I'd go with the Potions myself.) And
yes, I know this deck has rares coming out the wazoo,
but don't let that faze you. Until you can get the
good cards, you can use Lickitung or Snorlax as a
substitute for Kangaskhan, or Farfetch'd as an
inpromptu Scyther. Wigglytuff instead of Spearow would
also be an idea, but no reason to get all compulsive
about it...
