Kyle Theaker's Deck Garage
Great…
my house is a mess. Everything is soggy and dripping
with water. My cats took refuge on top of the
refrigerator. Well, 2 did. One cat’s too old to get up
onto the ‘fridge, so she clambered onto my head and will
remain until everything dries up. ‘How did everything
get so soakin’ wet?’ you ask. Well it all started like
this…
Hey this is the deck I have its pretty good but I very vulnerable against lightning pokemon [sic] but if I can get blastiose [sic] Ex out i [sic] have a pretty good chance of winning
1_Blastoise EX

2_Double colorless energy This email is from Swen. Swen’s a friend of mine, so I had no qualms about welcoming him into my home and deck garage, but he just had to bring his Blastoise ex along, too. Blastoise wasn’t to much trouble—until after I fixed Swen’s deck, but more on that later, here’s the fix. Okay, I see where you’re going with this. This is obviously a Rain Dance deck, but it lacks support. I’m going to start with the Pokémon, as usual. Pokémon Okay, this line is WAY out of focus. Drop the… Y’know what, just drop it all. I’ll reconstruct the whole thing. Here’s what you should run: [3] Squirtle (Smash Turn) [1] Wartortle (Smash Turn) [3] Blastoise (Base) [3] Suicune ex [2] Igglybuff (Neo Discovery) [2] Tyrouge [1] Scyther (Jungle [why not?]) And yes, I did take out Blasty ex. It’s not as powerful as Suicune ex and Base Blastoise doesn’t damage his friends. Whew… now that I’ve made order out of that chaos, let’s look at the Trainers. Trainers Wow, you really like Misty don’t you? Drop all of the Misty cards. Let’s also lose Computer Error, Life Herb and those Rocket cards. Also, Energy Ark, Balloon Berry, and Challenge! Now, time for additions. First, we’ll modify your drawing engine. Rain Dance decks are all about Speed, speed, speed, so we’ll start with 3 Professor Oaks. We’ll also run 3 Prof. Oak’s research and DROP THAT ELM!!! Elm sucks! Okay, maybe not, but it’s so SLOW! Way to slow for Rain Dance. Now we’ll add… ARRGH! Just run this: [4] Computer Search [4] Rocket’s Sneak Attack [3] Gust of Wind [3] Professor Oak [3] Professor Oak’s Research/Copycat (if there are large hand sizes in your Meta) [3] Item Finder [2] Rare Candy [2] Pokémon Center (With Suicune, very little energy ends up attached to your Pokémon) [2] High Pressure System [2] Mr. Stone’s Project [1] Island Cave [1] Pokémon Fan Club
As for energy, just run all Water. Final Count Pokémon: 15 [3] Squirtle (Smash Turn) [1] Wartortle (Smash Turn) [3] Blastoise (Base) [3] Suicune ex [2] Igglybuff (Neo Discovery) [2] Tyrouge [1] Scyther (Jungle [why not?]) Trainers: 28 4] Computer Search [4] Rocket’s Sneak Attack [3] Gust of Wind [3] Professor Oak [3] Professor Oak’s Research/Copycat (if there are large hand sizes in your Meta) [3] Item Finder [2] Rare Candy [2] Pokémon Center (With Suicune, very little energy ends up attached to your Pokémon) [2] High Pressure System [2] Mr. Stone’s Project [1] Island Cave [1] Pokémon Fan Club Energy: 17 [17] Water Well anyway, after I fixed Swen’s deck, his Blastoise ex noticed that I cut him. He wasn’t happy, friends. He whipped up a huge Energy Rain. The other Blastoise couldn’t let their ex cousin take all the fame, so they commenced a Rain Dance. Before you knew it, a great deluge had fallen—all within the confines of my humble abode. Readers, I need help. This all occurred a week ago and my house is still soggy. Can someone send in a Fire deck? Maybe if enough heat is generated the water will dry up. Please! I’m begging you for help! I’ll fix the first fire deck I get sent. The thing is, my cat’s gonna have to go to the bathroom soon, but she’s not gettin’ off my head until the house is dry. Please help me! Kyle |
