Sorry about no Chat Report last week everyone, but I was en route to New

Jersey for the East Coast STS.  Wow, what a blast that was!  It was great to

meet many of you (too many names to remember) and I hope to see you all at

the West Coast Super Trainer Showdown in December.  Fortunately with a lot

of people getting ready or heading to the STS, the chat was pretty short

last week and there wasn't any earth-shattering announcements to be had.

However, this week we've got some news about upcoming promos, some comments

on Southern Islands, and a bit of review on the ECSTS.

Finally, there will be no Chat next week due to the MT's being at the

Origins gaming convention; see below for more details about upcoming

conventions and about your opportunity to participate in special tournaments

while there.  Also, WotC_Mel announced that there will be a special

"Featured Chat" starring Tyais from PokeGym and Tom Hanley, two-time East

Coast STS 15+ division winner (2000, 2001-Sunday) on Friday July 6th (time

TBA, but most likely around 5pm or 6pm Pacific time).
