Jason, I totally agree. Wizards is nice to have given us the STS, and the
qualifiers, but the fact that they are pushing people OUT of the game is
wrong.
After the STS, in which I did horribly... (going 2-7 overall) I was this
close to quitting pokemon. I mean think about it. I was one of the people
who were so up on modified, saying how great it was. Then I go play in the
biggest event of the half year, and I completely misjudged it. Feraligatr
0wned so bad... and I thought it would barely be played. I guess online
testing, playing against some of the best players and people in the world,
isn't enough.
Now about wizards... I'm one of those people Jason was talking about who
are 13-14 wondering if this is their last year in pokemon. I turn 14 in
January. If they made the decision to ban 15+ in tournaments altogether, I
would quit. Wizards as a whole would probably lose millions, just because
they hate pokemon. If this is true, which rumors about wizards ALWAYS
are... (You need examples? Ok. 1. A special card in rocket. 2. The
modified format. 3. Birthday Pikachu promo. Need I name more?)
Wizards: If your going to be smart, please don't do this. If you really
think that eliminating the 15+ entirely would actually move people in
magic? YOUR INSANE!
With the little amount of 10- players... (There were only like 40 at the
sts... ;/) I think that wizards should eliminate the 10-. Make it the 14-.
Then have qualifiers for 15+.
If you eliminate 15+... you eliminate parents as well. Then parents can
only sit there and be bored, and thats not gonna be good. Trust me. (My
dad did this at the STS both days... then he made me teach him how to play
pokemon so he can play at the next STS!)
So I think we should all back Jason, because he's right. Wizards: Please
don't do this. It'd only bring chaos...
