Miroku
I’ll warn you all now. I’m biased. Why?
1) Miroku is my favorite character from the series
and
2) I run a Priest/Priestess deck
So, Miroku’s hidden rare is friggin’ awesome! He’s
expensive at 5, but he can be worth it. First, when
he defeats a character, it goes under Miroku and
can’t be saved. So, not only is it a ‘kill’ effect,
it also keeps the character from going in the
discard. This is huge for some decks (Wolf decks
come to mind). Miroku also only has two colors,
which makes it hard to hit. 6 Purple and 2 Red. So,
basically, red beats him down. Here’s the pain
though, because a lot of Slayers, InuYasha and 3’s
Company decks have at least 2-3 red. This kills
Miroku. If you can compensate for the low red,
however, you have a powerhouse killing machine. If
you run Miroku and Midoriko in the same deck, you
may need to put in quite a bit of deck replenishment
(I suggest the replenishing Kaede).
Most decks: 3/5 (…this is if you can compensated for
the red)
Priests: 4.5/5 (Just watch out for decking)
