Jaken, Critical Thinker.
Gaaah! I forgot about the review, sorry for the
lateness. An interesting new Jaken from Saisei, this
one makes your opponent's limited events cost
+2. That can be a lot to pay if you run a couple of
limited events.
+Just
think, What Are You Doing? costing 5, One The Move
costing 4, etc. Even Halt! costing 3 and a discard.
The colors are okay, nothing really great, but
interestingly, just one below that of the new Ultra
Sesshomaru in Red and Purple. The second effect is a
bit poorly worded though, while you control
Sesshomaru, your opponents have no effect on Jaken.
My guess is this was supposed to say, opponent's
events have no effect on Jaken. But hopefully this
will be resolved in the new CRD. Anyway, this is an
okay new
Jaken that would go well in a demon deck with
Sesshomaru, I somewhat doubt it will get into
Three's Company decks, and obviously will not get
into Followers decks because of the Follower of
Sesshomaru Jaken.
Pros:
+Alright colors.
+Makes opponent's limited items cost a bit more.
+Has an effect that once clarified will possibly be
good.
Cons:
-Worded poorly.
-Doesn't seem to fit into a theme as well as some
other Jakens.
