Backlash Wave
Remember Burned? Remember how you scrapped and
searched for one? Then it got banned. You took it
out. Became sad. Cried.
Well, I guess the powers that be want to apologize
and have given us a watered down version that is
both un-cheese-like and keeps the cooler aspects of
Burned. If a character with Tetsusaiga is attacked,
it gets +3.
IF you opponent also has more
jewel shards then you, you get the Burned effect of
defeating the attacking character.
So, obviously, it is only useful with a deck that
runs Tetsusaiga and Tetsusaiga search engines. Plus,
if your opponent sees one copy of that, they'll come
into battle prepared. So...it's balanced.
Rating: 2.5...wait! No. 3/5 only because I miss
playing Burned.

The
Backlash Wave
Also known as, *to the animé fans* Bakuryuuha,
InuYasha's strongest attack. Yet, they put the
attack as a defensive thing, which is good for
people playing InuYasha decks or Tessaiga decks.
It's casting cost is 2, which is like...ew...pretty
expensive for a card. =\ Personally, I don't like
the casting cost. It's too high, but whatever. It
would go great with my InuYasha friends deck though.
=D
Casual Play: 3/5
Tournament Play: 2.5/5 What are you chances of
having Tessaiga on the field with that in your hand?
InuYasha Tessaiga Deck: 4/5 Very strong defense
Art: 2/5 Bleh...it looks so plain...I really don't
like it. They couldn't use a picture when he
actually uses it? That's so...ew...
