Mermaid Scale
Well, I'm done Anime Boston. Sort of disappointed
that not one Inuyasha player came to the CCG area. *tsk
tsk* Come on now people!
So, our newest CotD is Mermaid Scale. Again, thanks
to Score for the exclusive previews...though, if
they pay attention, I play priests and I see a new
rare Miroku on that spoiler list *cough*hint*cough*.
Mermaid Scale is a draw engine. When this characters
defeats someone, you draw a card. Let's really boil
this down. If you're going to play this, you're
commiting one characters to always attack. Therefore
they're a beefy character, so this card shouldn't go
into a swarm deck. So, big beefy guys usually cost
from 3-5 ( A lot of 4 costs floating around now ).
So, if you spend 20 cards playing just 5 characters,
why would you want to mill through your deck faster.
I can think of only 2 decks off-hand that would
benefit, but not a lot. Basically, I don't think
this is great when you sit down and think.
