for a copy of Renkotsu and put him in your hand. *
When Ginkotsu defeats a character, you may search
your opponent's discard pile for 3 cards and remove
them from the game.

Ginkotsu, Member of the Band of Seven
Decent colors, nothing spectacular. Discard pile
removal over item destruction, which could come in
handy against some decks (and useless against
others). Search out Renkotsu, who could fall into
your plans if you plan to play control. He's useful
in some situations and decks, and follows the
discard pile removal theme. Don't expect him to
remove enough to destroy a whole discard though. I'm
at a toss up with this guy. It depends on what seems
to control the environment at the time. Soldiers
seem extremely potent. As well as some decks that
use regen. Thus, use what you will, depending on how
the environment sits and your deck works.

Ginkotsu, Member o/t "Shichinintai"
"Shichinintai" is what the Band of 7 was called in
Japanese and, well, I prefer that name. So, anyways,
Ginkotsu comes with the colors you'd expect on a
4-drop. When you play this cyborg, you can dig for a
Renkotsu and put him in your hand.
Decent for Shichinintai. Ginkotsu has an effective
graveyard removal as well. 3 seems to be the key
number for removal. All in all, effective ...
but I'd still run the promo from the starter.
