InuYasha, Seeker of the Shikon Jewel
I don't know if we reviewed this card before, but
I'll do it anyway. Today we have InuYasha, Seeker of
the Shikon Jewel. This is another promotional card
only given in the InuYasha TCG League in the 1st
season.
Now this InuYasha is pretty crazy. Unfortunately,
his first effect, which is to replace another
InuYasha in the field, really hurts because it will
cost you a character summoning action. But once he's
out, he's pretty deadly.
He's only 3 to cast, which is good for the colors he
has on. Plus, his 2nd effect, which is to get a
Tetsusaiga, REALLY gives him the boost. All
Tetsusaigas, except the rare version from the first
pack, give InuYasha +3 to all his colors. So if you
happen to drop one in your discard pile, you get to
put it on him and his colors would be 9, 6, 7, which
is pretty strong for an InuYasha that has a deck
cost of only 3.
His last effect really just gets to you. One of the
best effects I've seen. You have hand control
basically. Getting a card from your discard pile
into your hand is extremely useful. I envy anyone
that has this card because that is only of the
stronger points of this InuYasha. Use this guy to
get the things you drop in your discard pile first
before he gets defeated somehow.
Casual Play: 4/5
Tournament Play: 3.7/5 If only he didn't have that
first effect...
Art: 3.5/5 Looks like he's swinging Tetsusaiga at
something...
