Hi Pojo,last Sunday(Nov.28)I went to a card shop
called CJ's collectibles,in Tampa Bay, Florida, in
hope for a large scale tourney.I decided to try a new
deck i made instead of my trusty haymaker. There were
exactly 16 people there, and the tourney was single
elimination.And without further ado, here's my deck
with the report!!!

Report:

ROUND 1--Vince(me) vs Barney w/ Charizard Deck

Well, to make a long story short, this was one of
those kids who has to have every single card in
English and Japanese. This kid was SPOILED!!! Anyway,
as my starting hand i got : 1 Mr. Mime, 2 Psy Energy,
1 Scyther, 1 DBC energy, 1 Breeder and a PokeCenter.
He went first. I put down Scyther as my active pokemon
and Mr. Mime on the bench. He had 2 charmanders which
he had fully evolved into charizard by turn 4. I sent
i let hime kill the Scyther and sent out Mr. Mime and
started meditating.I KO'ed both Charizards and he
never got another basic pokemon out.

ROUND 2--Vince vs Mickey w/ Psychic & Fighting

This one was easy.I managed to get Alakazam out by
turn 6 and i drew a Chansey at turn 7. Then i got a
lucky draw 'cause of an Oak. I drew Bulbasaur, breeder
AND a Venusaur. I used the Damage Swap/Energy
Trans--Pokecenters combo and he didn't KO any of my
pokemon.I neutralized his Hitmonchans and Hitmonlee
with Scyther and used Mr. Mime against his evolved
pokemon.

ROUND 3--Vince vs Jason w/ Haymaker that had
Aerodactyles.
I get a Bye. I was looking forward to play this kid.
He was probably the 2nd most feared trainer behind me.
He had to leave for a doctor's apointment or something
like that. (I probably would have lost 'cause of the
Aerodactyles)

FINALS-- Vince vs Kevin w/ Mullimewtwo Deck
I HATED this deck!!! I lost last weak in the finals
because of him!!! But, this week, its time to plot my
revenge. I was too determined to win to let this one
slip away. He had his only two Mewtwos out and kept
using barrier. Fortunately, i evolved an Abra into
Kadabra and Gust of Winded for the benched Mewtwo and
used super psy. As expecter, he barriered the next
turn. My turn, i Oaked away i decent hand to try to
end the match. I got just the perfect card--SUPER
ENERGY REMOVAL!!!i Discarded an energy on my waiting
on a benched ivysaur and he knew he had lost.So he
forfeited to me and i was the champ!!!

I got 10 fossil packs that the store owner set aside
for the tourney!!! I got a Dragonite, Moltres,
Haunter, Gengar, Ditto and Raichu as my Holo's. And, i
got Articuno, Kabutops, Aerodactyle and Muk as my
non-holo rares.
