I made this deck a week ago. It had its first test run last week at the
Pokemon League. I got there this morning at 10:00. It lastest till 12:00.
This is a fun deck to play with but kinda hard to make. I call it the
"Fossil Haymaker".

Strategy of Deck:Try and get an Aerodactyl on the board as fast as possible.
If they have already evolved use Mr Mime. If they havnt send in Hitmonchan
and Scyther. Hitmonlee is to do damage to evolved Pokemon on the bench when
the are being powered up.
Pokemon League Tournament: Well it really wasnt a tournament but it was
regular league play. My deck did very well and pulled through for me. Heres
my report.
Report
Game 1 vs. Chris w/ A Wierd Haymaker ((Seriously))
I drew my hand and had scyther as my basic. He started with 2 Cubones and a
Koffing. I went first. I smacked a dbl cl on scyther. He went and put and
energy on cubone and drew a scyther. I laid a fighting energy on Scyther and
drew a Farfetch'd. My Scyther knocked his cubone out. He put an energy on
scyther and drew a Koffing that went on his bench. I then drew a Hitmonchan.
My Scyther had his down to 10 hp. He retreated and brought out a cubone to
stall. I quickly killed it and he then brought out a fully pumped koffing. My
Scyther was poisend. I retreated my scyther for another and then brought him
back out again no longer poisend. I killed his koffing after 2 turns. He sent
his final pokemon, a scyther with 10 hp and had no bench. He hit mine for 30.
I killed his and won the match.
Record:1-0
Game 2 vs. James-Fire Fighting
This was a very diffucult match. I again started with sycther and a chan. I
sat Scyther out as my active. I went first again. I placed an energy on
scyther. He went and put an energy on his benched growlithe leaving chan as
prey for my scyther. I drew a dbl cl and attached it to scyther. I killed his
chan after 3 turns. He brought out a growlithe with 3 energy on it. He then
evolved to Arcanine and killed my scyther.
I had chan and 2scyther on my bench and he had mysterious fossil. I just put
out my fully charged scyther. I attacked for 30 and lost scyther. I then put
up chan. He did 50 to it with flamethrower.I did 20 to him and then died! I
saw that he evolved his mysterious fossil to Kaputops. It was fully charged
along with arcanine. I prayed to god to get a basic. I DREW SCYTHER! I
immediatly used trader with scyther and got mr mime. I retreated scyther and
put mime out. I then attached a fighting on him. HE COULDNT ATTACK! He then
drew a Moltres and sat it on the bench. We pretty much stared at each other
until he used impostar prof. oak and i drew a Psychic energy a chan and a
mime. I put the energy on my active mime and delt 60 to his damaged arcanine
to kill it. He put down a lee an attached a fighting energy, I did 20 to lee.
He then put an energy on lee and delt 20 to my benched mime. Next turn i did
60 (weakness) and killed his lee. He sat his Kabutops out and i retreated
mime and put out a fully pumped scyther. Scyther killed Kabutops and he
brought out Moltres with 2 fire energy on him. He passed his turn. I
retreated scyther and brought out Farfetch'd. I delt 30 to it with pot smash.
He then attached one more energy to Moltres. I retreated Farfetch'd and
brought out mime. I meditated his moltres for 40 and won. Few what a match!
Record 2-0
Game 3 vs a long time friend, Jame's brother jon He used a lightning/psychic
I put chan out as my basic and mysterious fossil on my bench. He put out evee
and electabuzz on the bench. I got the coin toss. YES! I put a fighting
energy on chan and delt 40 to his evee (weakness) He then attached energy and
used Tail wag. He failed. I then attached an energy to chan and evolved
fossil to Aerodactyl. I did 40 to his buzz. He then used thundershock to my
chan without parlysis. I attached energy and did 80 for the knockout and then
win.
Record 3-0
Bame 4 vs. Fighting/Plant
This game went by quickly. He put out onix himonchan hitmonlee and geodude
on the board. I put down 2 scythers and a mime. I went first AGAIN! Ive never
won so many coin flips. I placed a fighting energy on scyther and prepared to
put a dbl cl down next turn ( Tip: I do this all the time so if he uses
energy removal he doesnt take that card away.) He then attached energy to
onix and did nothing because of my resistance. I killed his onix in 2 turns
and he had a graveler with 2 Energy on it. He put chan out. I now had
farfetch'd scyther mime chan mysterious fossil and lee. He evolved his
graveler to golem that turn and left chan as something to stall. I killed
chan in 3 turns. He brought out a fully charged golem and did 100 but only 70
to my scyther to kill it. I then put farfetch'd out to kill off his lee.
Record 4-0
Game 5 against Allan w/Grass fighting colorless
I started with with mime and him a geodude and geodude dratini on the bench.
He didnt attach energy to chan but his dratini. I then attached a psychic to
mime and evolved my mysterious fossil i drew to aerodactyl. He went and
let
geodude sit. I drew a himochan and placed energy on mime. I did 10 to his
geodude. He still left it there. I did 30 and the next turn i killed him. He
put another geodude out and a eggsecute on the bench. He sent out dratini and
did 10 with pound. I used an energy removal on it and retreated scyther. I
brought out chan to kill it. He then sent out eggsecute his last pokemon. In
3 turns i killed his eggsecute and won!

Well that was my report. I think i might add some plus powers to this deck
because i seemed to have to waist turns to just only do 10 to kill it. I
think this deck is one of my favorites and might do well in a tournament. I
know what your thinking:"Why didnt he fight the gym leader?" He was
swamped
with two people playing him in about two 45 minute games. He was using an
experimental deck and killed a moltres with a spearow after several turns
*laughs*.Him and i are seriously thinking about having a real tournament and
handing out boosters in a large room were we ussually play instead of the
dinky little store .He is very good and has about 6 decks that are awsome.
Write to me and tell me how you liked the deck at CorranHorn8386@aol.com.I
would really like to here your suggestions on how to make it better. Thanks
for reading!
