Hey Pojo.  I don't want to get all kissy up with you, but I would like to say
that your site is #1!  Also, this is my first time submitting a deck to Pojo.
Thanks in advance for posting this report.  Anyway, on with the report:

The tourny/Pokemon League was held at Toys R Us in Darien, Illinois on
December 11.  There were about 20-30 people there.  My deck is called AeroHay
2000 and it's fire/electric.  Here is the deck:

As you can see, this deck has a high amount of trainers.  Trainers are my key
to winning.  If it weren't for them, I'd suck at this game!  Also, I put 4
Scythers in and only had 3 Magmars because of the big use of fighting Pokemon
and the use of Gyarados.  Anyway, on with the tourney report:

1st Round
Me vs. My best friend Eric

Well, me and my best friend Eric were paired up.  He had a water/fighting deck
with lots of Lapras's and Gyarados's.  I started out with an Electabuzz and
Scyther.  I promoted Scyther and he promoted Lapras.  I won the coin flip.  I
attached a fire energy to Scyther.  His turn.  He attached an energy to Lapras
and used water gun.  10 damage to me.  Oh well.  No big deal.  I attached a
double colorless to Scyther and used Slash for 30.  He attached an energy and
used Water Gun for 20.  I used Slash again for 30.  He attached another water
energy and used Water Gun for 30.  I used Slash again.  He was dead.  Quick
match.  He didn't get any other basics that game.

2nd Round
Me vs. 13 year old with water deck

This kid had a fossil water deck with lots of Articuno and Tentacruel, but he
still had 1 of every other water Pokemon in there..  He drew and got a
Magicrap, Seel, and Psyduck.  I got Electabuzz, 2 Scyther, and Mysterious
Fossil.  I won the coin flip.  I sent out Electabuzz he sent out Seel.  I
slapped an energy down, paralyzed him and did 20.  He attached an energy to
Seel and did Seel's move.  I attached another energy down to Electabuzz, used
thunderpunch, and KO'd his Seel.  He brought out Psyduck and evolved him into
Golduck.  He attached an energy and couldn't do anything.  I got a lucky draw
with Aerodactyl (Woo hoo!) and put him on Mysterious Fossil.  I used
thunderpunch and KO'd his Golduck in one hit.  He brought out Magicrap,
attached an energy and used tackle.  I used thunderpunch and KO'd him easily.
That was the end of the game.  He had no more basics left, and I won.

Round 3
Me vs. Kid with Base Set Gastly deck

Now I thought this was getting pathetic.  This kid had practically every
single card and all he could do was put some Gastly's in his deck.  I won the
coin flip as usual and I drew Fossil Magmar and Electabuzz.  He got two
Gastlys.  I promoted Electabuzz while he put out Gastly.  I attached an
energy, used two pluspowers, and killed his Gastly in one hit.  He brought out
his other gastly and put down a fighting energy and couldn't do anything.  He
drew a Base set Mewtwo and put him on the bench.  I attached an energy and
used thunderpunch and killed his gastly in one hit.  He brought out Mewtwo and
attached an energy.  He couldn't do anything that turn.  I used thunderpunch
and did 40 damage to his Mewtwo.  He attached an energy to mewtwo, used a
Super Potion, and used Psychic.  30 damage to me.  I used thunderpunch again
and this time did 30 damage to him and 10 back to me.  His turn.  He used
Psychic and killed my Electabuzz.  I brought out Fossil Magmar, attached an
energy, and used Smokescreen for 10.  His turn.  He used tried to use psychic
but got an unlucky coin flip from the smokescreen.  My turn.  I attached an
energy, used Smog and poisoned him.  He was dead.  I won.

Round 4
Me vs. My best friend AGAIN!!

Me and Eric were paired up again for a rematch.  He won the coin flip this
time.  He drew a Lapras, Magicrap, Hitmonchan, and Machop.  I drew Scyther.
He started with Lapras and I started with Scyther.  He attached an energy and
used water gun for 10.  I attached a DCE to Scyther and couldn't do anything,
so it was his turn.  He attached another energy on Lapras and used confuse
ray.  Now I was in trouble, because I was confused and didn't have any other
benched Pokemon.  I attached an energy to Scyther and tried to use Slash, but
the coin flip landed on tails and I did 20 to myself.  Ouch.  His turn.  He
attached another energy on Lapras and used water gun for 30 which KO'd me.
What a short game.  I got the unlucky hand with only one basic and it was
unlucky for me all the way through.  I didn't even touch him that game.  He
was totally flawless.  Oh well.  Next time I won't underestimate him like I
did.

Well, that concludes today's tournament.  I got second place or something like
that, which is pretty good.  Not that many games played, though.  Well, until
