Many people use this deck (made by Scott Gerhardt)(used, and loved by the
pojo, Ryan T.). I also use this awesome deck.
ME-VS- Justin Knight with a Damge swap deck
I got a Scyther 3 DCE, a hitmonchan and 2 fighting energys. I
sent out
scyther with a DCE. He sent out a Abra. I added a fighting energy on Scyther
and slashed that weak little pokemon out og my way. This next pokemon Justin
sent out was another Abra. Scyther took care of that pest with a quick slash.
He sent out another Abra, and again it fell before Scythers all mighty slash.
Justin, alittle mad i might say, sends out Drowzee. It has been a long time
since i have seen one of these. Scyther slashes at Drowzee, leaving it in
pain with 20 hp left. It pounds Scyther, big 10 damage (heh heh), then
Scyther slashes the pitifull Drwozee out of the match. 2 more prizes
left.Next Justin comes back with Jynx. Scyther slashes the Jynx. Jynx comes
back with Double slap. It did nothing. Scyther again slashes Jynx. Jynx tries
another double slap, but luck against it, it did nothing. Scyther slashes
Jynx again, and it is out. Justin sends out a Mewtwo. Scyther slashes at the
pokemon. Justin adding a energy, then uses psychic, doing 30 damage. Scyther
slashes Mewtwo again for the win. I picked up all my prizes, he picked up
none.

Me-VS- Jonathan R. with a RAINDANCE deck
I got my scyther, mime, 2 DCE, 2 psy energys, and a comp.
search. He sent
out his poliwag, i sent out Scyther. I added a DCE. He added a water energy,
and water guned, 10 damage. I added a psy energy, and slashed poliwag away
(poliwag has 40 hp and a weakness to plant). He sends out Squirtle next. I
use comp. Search and find my electabuzz. Scyther slashes squirtle. He attches
a energy to squirtle and bubbles away, no paralyz. I draw a card, a lighting
energy. I attach it to elec. and slash squirtle out of the way. Jonathan
sends out a Magikarp next. I draw antoehr lighting energy, attach it to elec.
and slash magicrap......magicarp out of the game. He has a Wartortle on the
bench, fully powered, and sends it out. Scyther slashes the heck out of
Wartortle. He evolves Wartortle into Blastoise, and raindances 3 water
energys on him. CRAP!!. Blastoise Hydro Pumps Scyther out. I send in
electabuzz. Elec., being ever faithfull, thunder punches Blatoise, and gets
the coin flip, 40 damage, multiply it by 2, 80 damage. Blastoise Hydro Pumps,
leaving elec. with 10 hp. Elec. Thunder punches again, sending Blatoise into
the wall. He runs out of basics.
Outside it is snowing hard. All the top qualifiers get 1 1at edition base
pack, 1 1st edition jungle, and 1 1st edition fossil.
