I got the inspiration for this deck from a magazine but i rebuild it
with fossil cards, so using this deck, i entered a tourney not in the US
but in Singapore on 5 of Dec, as it is my first tourney, this win was a
very good experience for me. And by the way, here is my deck list.

4x Squirtle(Rain Dance basic pokemon)
2x Wartortle(just in case i don't get the breeder)
4x Blastoise(the star of the deck)
3x Lapras(to deal with annoying cards like Mr.Mime)
4x Articuno(better than Gyarados in everyway)

This tourney is my first and wow! I was amazed by how they run it.
It was best out of three and for just $10 Sing dollars, the prizes are
great, because if converted to $US it is only about US$7.

Preliminary Round vs Bench Hose deck
Its only the preliminary and I met up with a deck that is every thing
against me (Lighting), but it was picked randomly so i have to just
accept it. I am starting the game first. i drew my starting 7, i got a
Lapras, a Squirtle, a Breeder, a com search and three water energys, no
more can be said as it is too perfect for words to descride. I drew a
card got a BLASTOISE! How can I lose so I made my Lapras Active and
bench a Squirtle, he starts with an Electabuzz and a benched Magnemite.
I attached the energy to Lapras and stike for ten with Water Gun. He
shock me with Buzz and i took 20. My next turn was what that made him
helpless, i use a breeder and evolve my Squirtle into the star of my
deck Blastoise! Then I attach another energy to Lapras and discard the
card i just drew which was a trader and com search for what else?
Pro.Oak of course, I drew another seven cards, a ill and nothing else
but all energys i Billed wishing for something else but got energys
again, i was wondering did i sort my deck or not. With 8 energys in my
hand i have nothing to do so i attach 5 to Blastoise and 3 to Lapras, i
retreated Lapras and out came the star i hydro pump him dead and he
conceaded the game and later forfeited the second one, i think this type
of people shouldn't be here as his only wasting time and money.

Round One vs mono Grass Haymaker
This round was shocking as he sends out Tauros as the active and nothing
else, but my hand was bad i got only one Articuno as basic and as for
others i got a trader, two breeders and three water energys, he goes
first and stomp with a Double Colourless and that came with an extra, i
drew a card for the start of my turn but got a Wartortle, i attach one
energy to Articuno and end my turn, his next turn he slap down a energy
removal and  again stomp my Articuno with an extra, I drew a card got a
Blastoise and i knew the game was over for me so i conceaded that game,
for the next two game, my luck changed so i clinch both game easily with
my Lapras for the second game and an Articuno for the third with
Blastoise support for both of them.

Record 2-1

Round Two vs a classic Haymaker(Fighting/Lighting)
I knew that this game was important for me because whether i quallify
for the next round or not depends on this, so i'm all out for it and a
pretty good hand for a start boosted my confidence. i got a Lapras, two
Squirtle, a breeder, a Wartortle and two water energy. i start with
Lapras and water him for ten, he starts with his lonely Hitmonchan and
jab me twenty, i drew a Blastoise, and i quickly evolve both Squirtle i
layed down the first turn, one into Wartortle and one into Blastoise,
attached the energy to Lapras and shower Chan for twenty as i have
already cleared my hand. He conceaded the match after his draw phase and
i never knew what he drew. He disquallified for the next game for
slotting two gards into one protector, i caught him as i noticed his
Item Finder is extremely thick then to my surprise i found another
Pro.Oak under it. He gave me the eyeball when he was informed to be
disquallified but i pretended to look away.
Record 4-1

Quarter Finals vs ??? deck
My opponent forfeited the set as he fainted!!! after qualifying, the
judge wouldn't allow the guy who was defeated by my opponent this round
as he had already been kicked out.

Semi-Final vs a Multi Coloured Haymaker
Into the Semis i go and i am feeling a bit nervous as this is my first
tournament, i met up with multi coloured haymaker who was said to be th
hot favourite for the tourney, i got a taste of that saying when i lost
the first round to him even though my hand was acceptable but due to his
Electabuzz so i lost. i was feeling the pressure here in game 2 as i
lost game 1, but this time my hand was bad at the beggining as i have
only one squirtle and six energys, i almost conceaded but at last still
decided to hang on as i got a com search for my first draw and lay down
Squirtle with an energy attached to it and i com search for a Pro.Oak
and got a hand i never dreamed of, a Breeder, a Blastoise, an Articuno,
a Bill and three energys, i bubbled his Scryther and paralyzed it, he
could only attach an enery to his Scryther and shouted go as he has on
other basics, i drew a card and i got an Item Finder which was useless
at the moment, i slap down Articuno and evolve Squirtle into Blastoise,
i retreated Blastoise and out goes Articuno and with the three enegys
attached to it and Freezed the Scryther paralyzing and and  leaving it
with only 30Hp, he drew a card and he conceaded the game he told me he
drew an energy even though his hand was all energys. Game 3, for this
game it was quick as he sends out a Fossil Magmar with no energys and he
end his turn, i layed down a Lapras and putting his fire with water gun
leaving it with 50Hp, he drew a card and conceaded the game as he has no
fire energys and no energy searches, that sent me to the Finals.

Final vs Mono Fire deck
Got into the Finals for my first Tourney, not bad at least i'm confirm
to have a Charizard or a Scyther as they were the top two prizes for
today and a Blastoise was for third. My Finalist opponent asked me what
deck i was play and i told him i was playing a RainDance deck, he
conceaded immediately as he told me that he was playing mono-fire. My
first tourney and came my first victory. i got a Charizard and a 1st Ed
Fossil for clinching the title

i sold  the Charizard on the spot for S$60 which was about 40+ US
Dollars and I got a Holo Gengar from the booster and i knew that this
was my lucky day for all that happened.That's all folks hope that i will
win again next time after this unexpected win.
