1st Match
I was playing against a kid who had a psychic deck. He destroyed my
Machops
and Machokes. I beat him eventually with my Seadra’s and Blastoise’s
Water
Guns.
2nd Match
I now got paired up with a teen with a fire/electric deck. My Primeape and
Hitmonchan tore his electric pokemon up into pieces. Later, he finally got
his Charizard out and killed my Kingler. So, I brought out my Golduck.
I
had a nice turn here. He had two fire energies left, so I used my Pokemon
Trader and got Blastoise out. I then used an Energy Removal to take one of
his two remaining fire energies off of Charizard. Next, I attacked with
Golduck’s Hyper Beam, did 40 damage because of weakness, and discarded his
last fire energy off of Charizard, leaving it energyless. All he did next
turn was place a fire energy down, and used a Bill. I retreated my
Golduck,
brought out Blastoise, and Hydro Pumped for the win.
3rd Match
I then played a kid who played with a deck that had grass pokemon that could
poison. His Koffing was annoying me, but I soon Crabhammered it to death.
I soon lose the Kingler, but I bring my Hitmonchan out and Special Punch for
the victory. Good thing I don’t have fighting pokemon that are weak to
grass.
4th Match
I now played against an unchanged “Zap!” deck. I got a little nervous
because of the psychic and electric pokemon, but I was lucky. My water
pokemon went up against psychic, and my fighting pokemon went up against
electric. Eventually, I pulled it off in a close match.
