I recently particpated in a 16 man tournement here in
little newton Ks at the local newton hobby center
Dec.23. I took the liberty of building a
Fighting/Electric deck that may to the untrained eye
seem like just another boring haymaker, but its not
really a haymaker!, its just..got some haymaker
elements to it, yeaht thats it, *phew*. Well lets see
what my little deck consists of

First Round

me vs 16 year old with Psychic/Electric Deck

my first match was against this stupid kid who nuked
my computer last year! This was a personal vendetta,
pure and simple. He started off with a Zapdos, i had
Good ol "Buzz. I eventually killed off his zapdos
whilst he was building up on the bench. Forutantly i
got out an AeroDactyl that prevented him from evolving
all his precious Gastlys and Abras..MWAHAHHAA!
..*ahem*...it had become a war of basics, one i easily
won. I plowed through all his pokemon with a Fully
armed and Operational Hitmonchan and victory was mine!
WON! (1-0)

next match
Me vs fat guy with fighting/Colorless deck
Before this match this guy was one of the favorites to
win. he bragged constantly of the wonders of his
dragonair and such..well it was time to deflate his
ego Pokemon style! I started off with Hitmo, he had a
Mankey *snicker*. This match was short, i killed
mankey and then his dratini on the bench and got a
Very quick win! Perfect way to deflate the
overconfident fanboy!
WON! (2-0)

next match
me vs little kid with Electic/water deck

this kid had no clue how to play, he thought all
energy in this game was colorless for some reason!
Well it was cool cause he still somehow beat that kid
who nuked my computer in the match previous to this
one. HE started out with an Eeve. Me, with a Hitmo. I
nearly killed his eeve when he retreated it and
evolved into Jolteon, and brings in a rattata. I kill
it, then next turn kill Jolteon and win, due to his
noticeably empty bench
WON (3-0)

Hurrah i have made it to the final four!

Me vs kid with good psychic deck

if theres anything thats really a nemesis to this deck
its one of those  really good Psychic decks with
Gengars and the whole 9 yards. Well this guy had one
of those decks! I started off with a Buzz and he had
Jynx. I eventually scooped up buzz, killed a few
pokemon wtih a Hitmonchan and began pounding away on
his Mr Mime. For some reason this guy didnt know that
if u had no benched pokemon u lose! god only knows how
he made it this far with not knowing that! And when
his Mr Mime died..so did he!
Won! (4-0)

FINALS
Me Vs Defending Champ with rain Dance Deck

The moment of truth had arrived..i knew i would have
to face this guy again. We had met in the finals of
the last tournament, only for my fire/fighting deck to
be promptly crushed..i drew my 7 cards..and the gods
had smiled upon me! An electrabuzz against his
squirtle. I went right to work on him! HIs squirlte
fell so he brings out an aticuno, with 2 energy! I
used a SER and began thunder punching away, in a
couple turns he was gone. This guy's strategy was
crushed by my rapid advance. He had no choice but to
fling a psyduck at me. Then finally he had a wartortle
with 3 energy on it and he Super Energy removaled my
Buzz! By the he did this Wartortle had 60 of its HP
gone and i had a farfetc'd on the bench, ready to go.
I knew this was my oppurtuntiy to win! He had no more
benched pokemon so I used a swich, brought in
Farfetch'd, and gave his poor wartortle a good pot
smashing he'll never forget..Thus..Victory! My long
time nemesis was finally vanquished! I got my 20 buck
gift certificate which i plan to use as soon as the
place gets some more cards in..by the way, if theres
any fellow Poke fans who would like to chat with me,
