I debated long and hard about what to play, considering not using my
usual Blastoise deck since I was scared of an early Muk or Aerodactyl
coming out and ruining my dancing fun, but upon the urging of my
friends. I went with the Rain Dance deck.

Game 1:
Me vs. someone's Grass/Psychic deck.
I don't remember the name of the guy who I played, sorry. I start out
with 3 Mulligans so my opponent draws 6 cards very smugly. I eventually
get a squirtle, 2 Water Energies, 2 Computer Searches, a Breeder and
other stuff in my opening draw. I lay out my Squirtle and he puts ouf
Kangaskhan and Arba. He goes first and uses his Kangaskan to Fetch a
card. I Comp. search for a Blastoise and bubble his Kanga, paralyzing
him. His turn he just draws. My turn, I Breed to Blastoise, put the
remaining Energy on Blastoise and Oak to get more card. I finish pumping
up Blastoise until he has his 5 Energies, then Hydro Pump the Kanga. He
attaches and energy to his Abra and Evolves it into Kadabra. I pump his
Kanga off. He brinds Kadabra up and hopes for an Alakazam. He doesn't
get one and on my turn I pump for death.

Result: Win
Standing:1-0

Game 2:
Garth's Machamp/Alakazam Switch deck

This is a cool deck that garth uses, using Machamp's special ability to
hit the attacker for 10 damage, then moving all the damage to a benched
chansey. But all the pokemon needed are stage 2s, so I hope to be able
to get out my blastoise before he can get the alakazam out. I start with
Squirtle, he starts with Hitmonchan. I luckily go first, and am able to
bubble the Hitmonchan to paralyze him. Garth drops an Abra and draws. My
turn I draw a Blastoise(I had a breeder in my hand), and evolve. I
raindance to load up the Blastoise and kill off Hitmonchan. He brins up
Abra, hoping to paralyze me, he fails and I knock off Abra, he knows the
game is over and brings up Machop. I kill off the machop to take the win

Result: Win

Standing: 2-0

Game 3
Colin's Psychic/Electric deck

I Mulligan two times in my opening draw but get a 2 Squirtles, a
Blastoise but no Comp. Search. He start Magnemite. I think great, there
goes my game plan. He gets to go first(Gulp). He attacks and energy to
Magnemite and shocks me for 20. I bubble the magnemite and paralyze him.
Fully expecting the Active squirtle to die, I evolve my benched one into
wartortle and hope for either and Oak or Bill my next turn. But I do
better than a Oak or Bill, I get a Breeder. I happily evolve the Active
squirtle into blastoise, drop 2 more energies on him and hydro pump to
kill the magnemite. He then promptly forfiets the game before I can kill
the Abra. Oh well.

Result: Win
Standing: 3-0
*As a side note, we played a quick pick up game afterwards and he gets
lucky and pulls out 2 Mr. Mimes to start. Glad that didn't happen in the
regular game. :)

At this point I am waiting for the pairings of the Fourth round to be
announced and am just sitting at the table talking strategy and trades
to people. The tourney Director then comes over, gives me ten packs of
cards and asks me to take my picture. I said sure, not really knowing
what was going on. Turns out the TD had done his math and figured that
no one could beat my record and that I would be the eventual winner
anyway. I smile happily for the camera, my 3 Blasoises in my hand. In my
prizes, I get a useless stuff besides a Raichu, Electabuzz and a
Charizard. I look at the Charizard in dismay, I would have rather had a
4th blastoise, but I am quickly surrounded my kids clamoring for the
Char and I am able to trade it for a Blastoise and a Moltres, so I had
to be glad after all. Here is the deck i used:

'Super Blastoise'
Squirtle x4
Wartortle x4
Blastoise x3
Lapras(She's in the so I could confuse a Mr. Mime to make it lose it's
power, then hammer it with Hydro Pump, it never happened though)
Bill x4
Professor Oak x4
Pokemon Breeder x3
Item Finder x2
Potion x2
Energy Removal x4
Gust of Wind x4
Computer Search x4
Water Energies x21
