psychic/electric
My deck is:
4 jynx
4 mr. mime
4 elctabuzz
2 zapdos(fossil)
4 scyther
4 tauros
13 psychic energy
13 electric energy
2 doubl-colorless energy
2 gust of wind
2 pokeflute
2 switch
2 potion
1 pokecenter
1 professor oak
my stratagy with this deck is to hit the opponent with fast, low costing
attacks.
gust of wind and pokeflute make a good combonation, bring out the weak
pokemoan fm the discard pi and then bring it out. Don't worry scyther'
attack is colorless it doesn't matter if he is grass. and the zapdoses
are there to hit the opponents bench.
I played at Matt's small card shop in St. paul, MN and on september 24.
there were about 20 people and i one first.
In the first round i easily deafeted there quadrupl or higher type deck
because they never got enough energy out to do much damage. and it to
them a wgile to bring out there evolutions.
the next round i deafeted a simple water/fighting deck obviously having
the advantage.
in the next round i came back with my nerly invincable mr.mimes against
there highly evolved pokemon.
they next round they had a fighting/psychic deck and we both had the
advantage but i quikly stoped them with my pokemon.
this round i was competing to go to the first place game. this time my
zapdoses heped a lot by weakenig and killing their bench pokemon then my
scyther and jynx came out and finished them of
noww i was fighting for first. i fought a haymaker and had a slight
advantage over their fighting pokemon. this time my tauroses were
creamed by their hitmonchans, but my jynxs and mr. mimes came out and
killed them then i was fighting an electabuzz with my jynx and i was
about to lose but i drew a potion, healed my jynx and kiled the
electabuzz.
