Hey Pojo! Just wanted to send in my first Killer Deck to u guys.The
tournament was held at a card/comic shop called "The Danger Room" in
Anderson, Indiana. About 46 people participated, and it was DCI sanctioned. I
don't quite remember the date, but I'll do my best to remember everything. It
was my first tourney, so I thought I wouldn't do very well, but I did. It was
a double-elimination tournament, with rounds being one game each. Here is my
deck, then my report:

1st round: VS. a small kid with an Electric/Fire deck.
To start out, I get a Machop, Hitmonchan, 3 Fighting Energy, a Chansey, and a
Psychic energy. I start out with Hitmonchan and he starts out with
Magnemite(big mistake on his part) and Charmander on the bench. I slap an
Energy down and Jab Magnemite for 40 because of his weakness to Fighting. My
prize for killing him is a Machoke. he sends out another Magnemite and
thunder waves me for 10. I'm Paralyzed. I lay another fighting energy on
Hitmo and pass. He thunder waves again and I'm not paralyzed. I kill his
Magnemite with a Special Punch and then his Charmander. I win because he's
out of basics. After the match, I find out that he had two Charizards in his
deck, and just didn't get them. I felt sorry for him.
Record:1-0
Round two: VS. Chris Flynn, my best friend and Neighbor, also with
Fighting/Psychic.
This was a long battle, so I'll leave out some unimportant details. I start
out with Machop, him Chansey. I go first and Low kick him for 40 because of
his weakness. he is just stalling with Chansey so he can pump up a wigglytuff
and load up his bench. I lay down a Chansey of my own and a Rhyhorn on my
bench and low kick him again for 40. He now has two energies on Wiggly and
passes.I kill Chansey and get an Energy as a prize. he has a full bench and
Wiggly out w/ three energy. He kills me with Do the wave, so now we're even.
In the next 10 turns, We each get down to 3 prizes, and he is making me sweat
with a Hitmonchan against my Rhyhorn. I eventually kill it with a Machoke,
but only after he killed one more of my Pokemon. Then he gets no energy and I
use a pluspower to kill his jigglypuff for the win.He is a great sport and a
great player. great job, Chris!
Record: 2-0
Round three: VS a kid with fire/Water
I killed his Magikarp in two turns with a Hitmo for the win because he
doesn't have any basic.
Record: 3-0
Round Four: VS. a kid with colorless and fire
I have a Machamp and three kills by the 15th turn. His colorless are weak
against them and if they do attack, Strikes back gets them. I eventually win
with five prizes taken because he doesn't have any basics left.
Record:4-0
Round Five: VS. Chris's younger brother Josh, who is cocky, rude and acts
like an idiot when he wins. He plays Fire/psychic.
Well, it wasn't much of a fight. He got an awesome hand and I didn't get much
of anything the whole game. He killed my hitmo and machop and i ran out of
basics. Noooooooooo!!!!! My first loss and he ended up winning the tourney.
He needs to grow up, though, because he bragged and was rude the whole
tourney. People out there: Play  nice and be a good sport, not rude and
braggy.
Record: 4-1
Round Six: VS. a kid named Ryan with Fighting
This was the best game played, period. We both couldn't get any energy after
awhile, but I eventually won with a Rhydon killing his Rhyhorn. He was an
awesome player and he only had one prize left, too. Props to him.
Record:5-1
Round Seven:VS> a kid with colorless(yes!)
I killed him the whole game with Hitmo and Machamp and Rhyhorn leading the
charge. What energy he did have got removed and he never got anything going.
Record:6-1
Allright! I made it to the top 8!
VS. a girl that was awesome and played fire(that was all I saw)
I got a bad hand and was forced to stall with Chansey's Scrunch and Clefairy
and Chansey bit the dust to her Ninetails. I lost!
Final record:6-2
I got fifth place and three packs of Jungle, in which I got a Snorlax and
Wigglytuff.
