Rama Llama tournament report for 10-10-99
Plano, Texas
1 block west of central on parker.

This was my first tournament at Rama Llama.  My deck was an all fighting deck
that included the Hitmon family.  Here it is:

first round: me vs. Jacob Law:he was playing a water deck.  On third turn he
had a poliwrath out and I had a hitmonchan on the bench and a hitmonlee
active.  I ko'ed
his poliwrath easily.  He brought out a squirtle next.  I didn't worry about
it and started destroying his bench with stretch kick.  I took out a
poliwhirl, 2 wartortle, a magikarp, and a gyarados.  He didn't take any
prizes.  I win.  :)

second round: me vs. Doug Chote:  he was playing mono fighting also. First
turn i get out a farfetched with a machop on the bench.  I kill his
hitmonchan with farfetched, but he comes back and takes out my farfetched and
machop with his dragonair.i ran out of basics. Dang.   :(

third round: me vs. ???:he is playing haymaker.  i get hitmonchan,
farfetched, and sandshrew out,  He has a Electabuzz.Electabuzz gets killed
quickly with chan.
i kill another electabuzz.  He brings out chan with scyther on the bench.  I
draw a hitmonlee.  I put lee out and bill for 2 fighting energy. i finally
kill chan and he brings out scyther.  Good thing i have a super potion in my
hand.  After quite a few turns, i super potion lee and finally kill scyther. 
he has no more basics and I win.   :)

fourth round:  me vs. a chinese kid:  i get beaten baaaaaaad.  on the third
turn, i run out of basics.   :(

fith round: me vs. Kyle Meisee:  He is playing fire.i get out lee,
farfetched, fossil ( which i evolce to aerodactyl second turn).  He gets
Rapidash out  on fourth turn. He uses agility reapetedly and stalls.  I
finally run out of basics on the eigth turn.  :(

I was ranked 17 out of 30 for the day.  When i beat the kid in the third
round. he got really mad because he had lost all of his other matches and was
really po'ed.  He stormed out of the game room.
