    Round One:

Me v.s. Mike Stokes

    The Match:   Little 11 year old Mike had a fire and grass deck ,which I
knew I could beat. We both started out with basics in our hand .My hand: 2
Squirtles,1 Energy Search,1 Fossil Gastley,2 water energy, and 1psychic
energy . I put a Squirtle as my active pokemon and the rest on my bench. He
put out a Bulbasaur as his active pokemon ,and a Charmander as his 1 benched
pokemon. He went first by putting down a grass energy onto his Bulbasaur. He
couldnt do anything so I went  and put down a water energy on Squirtle and
successfully paralyzed him with the Bubble attack. He drew a card but could
do nothing. My next drawn card was a Wartortle.I evolved Squirtle and used my
energy search and got a double colorless energy and put it down. I then
proceeded to knock out the Bulbasaur.He put out his Charmander but had no
energies. I then asked him if he wanted to forfeit and he sadley accepted.


Quarter final match : Me v.s. John Talarowski

    The Match: He had a fire deck in which , the person that I am asked ," Do
you want to forfeit ?" He didn't accept. My hand : 1 Abra, 1 Squirtle, 1
Kadabra, 3 Psychic energies, 1 water energy. I went first and made Squirtle
my active pokemon. I put down the water energy. He had a Vulpix. I paralyzed
his Vulpix. He drew a card ,put down no energys, and poor Vulpix died ! He
had no basic pokemon. I laughed ,he cried ,and I advanced.

Semi-final Match: Me v.s. Vince Carfagno

    The Match :  He had a Electric and Psychic Deck, which I obviously
guessed that it was the Zap deck. My hand: 1 Mewtwo, 1 Krabby, 1 Wartortle, 1
Bill, 1 Double colorless energy, and 2 water energy. I put out my Mewtwo as
my active pokemon and Krabby on my bench. He had a Magnemite as his active
pokemon, and 2 Voltorb on his bench. this would not be easy. I went first and
put down the double colorless energy down onto Mewtwo and did my Psychic
attack which did 10 damage. On his turn he put down a electric energy and did
not successfully paralyze me . I drew my card which was a Kingler. I quickly
evolved Krabby and used my Psychic attack which did 20 damage. Vince was
persistant, and executed his thunder wave attack which sadly did not paralyze
me. I then drew my card which was a Gyarados. It was useless ,so I just
knocked out the Magnamite and drew a prize card which was a Magikarp! I then
found myself looking at a Jungle Electrode. But he had no energys. So he put
down one and it was my turn. I drew a Defender which I put down on Mewtwo.I
then put down the Magikarp,and evolved it into Gyarados, and put down a water
energy.I then executed my Psychic attack which did 20 damage. His turn, he
put down a electric energy did his attack,but I had a Defender which blocked
that attack. My turn, I drew a double colorless energy and put it on
Gyarados. I then did my Psychic attack which did 30 to Electrode. He did 20
damage to me so I switched it for Gyarados and put down a water energy which
did 50 to Electrode and killed him. All that was left was the other Voltorb.
He put down a electric energy and did a 10 attack to Gyarados. I then did a
50 attack to voltorb knocking him out . Vince then said " I have no more
basic pokemon,you win."

Finals: Me v.s. 69 year old Mr. Koopeck

    The Match: He had a colorless deck . My hand:2 Squirtles,4 water
energies, and 1 Potion. I made Squirtle my active pokemon,and put the other
Squirtles on my bench. He put down a Pidgey. I went first. I put down a water
energie and paralyzed his Pidgey. He drew a card and put down a double
colorless energy on Pidgey. I then drew a card and got a double colorless
energy.I then did a 10 attack and did not paralyze him. He used his whirlwind
attack and made me switch with another Squirtle. I then drew a Wartortle and
put down a water energy on Squirtle . I did win after that 10 attack because
Mr. Koopeck didnt have anymore basic pokemon.

    Reward: The 8 Boosters in which I got a Mewtwo, Gyarados, Zapdos,
Nidoking, Fossil Haunter, Hitmonchan, Dugtrio,and a Pinsir
