Hi, my name is Tommy a.k.a. The Pokemonzter. I just recently attended a
Pokemon Tournament at Toys "R" us in memphis,TN on October 9th 1999.
I have a Fire/grass deck called "Forest Fire" and here it is.

here's what happened at the tournament:

Game 1:Me v.s. jonathan woodruff

This kid is like, my freind and he's pretty good. he used a fighting and
psychic deck that he called psyslap. I drew my cards and got 2 grass energy,1
fire energy, charmander, chansey, gloom, and 1 gust of wind. I put charmander
out front because I had a weird feeling that on my next draw i was going to
get charmeleon. He had hitmonchan, jynx, and farfetch'd. he used jynx and we
fliped the coin... Heads, I go first. I drew a card and for some very weird
coincidence, I got ... charmeleon. I evolved charmander and put an energy on
charmeleon. his turn. He drew his card and put an energy on jynx. my turn. I
put a fire energy on charmeleon and a double colorless on charmeleon and used
 flame thrower. discarded 1 fire energy. his turn he used a psychic energy on
jynx and double slaped, 2 heads, 40 damage to me. my turn. drew my card and
got 1 fire energy. used the energy on charmeleon and used flame thrower on
jynx and beat jynx. Prize was a energy search.

round 2: I can't remember exactly but I do remember getting a venusaur and
killing all his pokemon in less than 10 minutes. I won by prizes.

round 3: He forfiited cuz' he was gettin' his butt kicked by my moltres. I
win.

I forgot everything else because I was getting bored and almost falling
asleep. All that I remember is that I placed second with a record of 9 wins
and 1 loss. I got 2 basic set boosters and 3 1st edition jungle boosters. I
got a Blastoise holo, victreebell holo and a pidgeot holo. Expect another
deck report from me with a brand newdeck but with the same types. I'm going
to add a few bellsprouts and 2 weepin bells and 1 Holo victree bell ( woo
hoo!!). see ya
