TOURNAMENT RESULTS
I was in a Tournament at Caveman here in Springfield, MO. There were
about thirty kids. It was double elimination. Here are the results.

Match 1: Some kid with a Psychic/Water deck
Starting hand: 1 Charmander, 3 Fire Energy, 1 Super Potion, 1 Charmeleon,
Magikarp. I put Charmander out as starter. He put out Abra as starter,
Jynx and Mr. Mime. I go first. I get Water Energy. He evolves Abra 2nd
turn, uses Recover. I add Energy and evolve Charmander, uses Slash. Next
turn, Slash again. I draw Water Energy. I get another Water Energy for
prize. He puts out Jynx. Double Slap- 20 damage. I evolve Magikarp with 3
Water Energy on. I use FlameThrower. Next turn, FlameThrower. He puts Mr.
Mime out. He adds Energy to Mr. Mime and forgets to use Invisible Wall!
FlameThrower! He loses because he has no more basic Pokemon.  RECORD: 1-0


Match 2: Some kid using Water/Lightning/Grass Deck (All Three Of My
Weaknesses! OH NO!)
I lose horribly! RECORD: 1-1

Match 3: Some Cheater with a 75 card Psychic deck.
He kept drawing five cards a turn. I finally decked him. RECORD: 2-1

Match 4: Josh something-or-other using a Brushfire deck he had just
bought.
Starting hand: 1 Squirtle, 1 Blastoise, 1 Pokemon Breeder, 4 Water
Energy. He puts out Vulpix as active and other Vulpix on bench. I draw
another Water Energy. I add it to Squirtle. Use Bubble. Paralzation! He
adds energy to Vulpix on bench. I use Pokemon Breeder on Squirtle and use
Rain Dance and Hydro Pump to the end! RECORD: 3-1

Match 5: The Cheater again!
This time he actually beats me. Drat!
