>The tournament:
>Round 1:
>Game 1-Played against a fighting deck that heavily relied on evolution with
a
>geodude/graveler/golem and Machop/Machoke/Machamp theme with some
Hitmonchan.
> I felet really bad for him when I got Aerodactyl out 2nd turn. He
could not
>hurt it with his geodudes or Machop or Hitmonchan and I just picked them off
>1 by one.
>Game 2-Pretty much same as game 1 only I didn't get Aerodactyl out for a few
>turns. When he came out it was all over for him.
>
>Round 2:
>Game 1-Played against Raindance. I thought I would surely win but he
managed
>to get out a blastoise before I could get out Aerodactyl. It was a
VERY long
>battle and near the end of the game I had an aerodactyl out and he ad a
>squirtle up and an Articuno on the bench. He attached an energy and
>retreaded for articuno. I had jigglypuff and he used blizzard.
The
>impossible happened. The coin flipped tails killing of his ENTIRE
BENCH. I
>drew my last 4 prizes and won. I still cannot believe that happened.
>Game 2-Got Aerodactyl out before he got any evolutions pulled off. It
was so
>sad. I just killed off all his basics one by one. How sad.
I win again!
>
>Round 3:
>Game 1-This kid was so sure he was going to win. He thought I had an
all out
>Ditto deck after watching me play before the tournament. He had
psychic and
>electric so he thought he would win for sure(don't know why?). This
was just
>to sad. I got out aerodactyl early and just totally devastated him with my
>jigglypuffs.
>Game 2-All I started out with was Ditto! He got Mewtwo I went
first and
>drew a card, it was a gambler. I used it and the coin flipped tails.
He was
>so happy, "you only get one card!" I drew an oak. I
used it and all I got
>was a mysterious fossil as a basic. I attached a double colorless to
ditto
>and used psychic doing 20 damage to Mewtwo. His turn he attached a
psychic
>energy. My turn I knew he was going to start urting my ditto so I used
>barrier after attaching an energy. With my massive energy supply in my
hand
>I stalled for about 3 turns. STILL NO BASICS!!!. I finally
thought it would
>be okay to kill Mewtwo with psychic. He brought out a electabuzz
and used
>thunderpunch for 30 my turn I used thunderpunch for 40. His turn
he simply
>retreated electabuzz for gastly thus giving the 30 damage ditto 30 HP.
After
>that he just killed off my mysterious fossil for the win.
>Game 3-This guy was now so excited. I was letting him kill off some of
my
>pokemon so that I could built up my wigglytuff and was left 2 prizes short
of
>him due to my lack of energy. I brought wigglytuff forward and started
>killing off his psychic pokemon. He finally got a Mr. Mime and brought
it
>out. I retreated wigglytuff for a jigglypuff on my bench, attached
double
>colorless and used pound. Hi turn he started to realize I was going to
win.
>After his mime was dead all he had was a beat up chansey that was prey for
my
>wigglytuff. I win!
>
>Round 4: (the final game)
>Game 1-NOT A HAYMAKER!!!!! There was no sense in me getting out
aerodactyl
>because he had no evolutions. I was totally destroyed.
>Game 2-Killed at least 1 of his pokemon but still lost.
>
>Looks like I got 2nd place. I won a pack of 1st edition fossil.
I opened it
>and got a holographic Articuno. The guy that won got 2 packs. He
offered me
>his opened pack with a non-holo Dragonite and his unopened pack for just my
>Articuno. I took the deal and in the unopened pack I got another
non-holo
>dragonite.
>
>I would appreciate it if you did not copy my deck because it took me forever
>to perfect.
