Hey PoJo, since I had my
killer deck posted. I've been reading alot
of the older ones. The deck caught my eye and I decided to take it for a
ride at books-a-million in Laffayette, LA on saturday, October 9.It is the
poor man,s hamaker(Only not that poor.)The original was made by Keith
Williams.
First of all here's the deck....
13 Fire Energy
12 Fighting Energy
4 Charmander
4 Machop
3 Magmar
3 Farfetch'd
2 Rattata
2 Hitmonchan
NOTE:THE ONLY CHANGES
I MADE TO THE POOR MAN'S
4 Bill
HAYMAKER IS CHANGED OUT
4 PlusPower
SCOOP UP AND 1 RATTATA IN
4 Energy Removals
IN
EXANGE FOR THE HITMONCHANS.
2 Professor Oak
2 Gust of Wind
1 Energy Retrieval
This Tournament was SMALL, about 10 people, and it was single
elimination.
Round 1
Vs. Charizard deck.
He started out with a Charmander and NO OTHER BASICS! What a lucky break. I
started out with a Machop and a benched Farfetch'd, and after three low
kicks
he was gone.
Record 1-0
Round 2
Vs. Grass
She had out a Scyther and was building up a Bulbasaur on her bench. I laid
out
Magmar, with a Charmander on the bench, and Gust of Wind out the Bulbasaur.
With him out of the way, it was only a matter of time before my Charmander
embered the the ever so CRAPPY Scyther.
Record 2-0
Round 3
Vs. Rain Dance deck
I knew I was in over my head with this one because of my deck not having
electric pokemon. I laid out Farfetch'd, and benched a Rattata. He had a
Chansey out to stall while he benched a Squirtile. In a couple of turns we
were still head-to-head, untill he got a Pokemon Breeder and out came
Blastoise. That was the turn i brought out hitmonchan but i still lost
Record 2-1
Still pretty good for a deck that cost about $20 (a starter set and
blackout,trade your machamp
for hitmonchan.Hope you like this awesome deck.
