My Killer Deck is called The Eliminator. Basically I combined two powerful
types: Haymaker and Wall Stall, while throwing in some of my own touches. I
entered it in a local Books-A-Million tournament to choose gym coaches
and...well...I can't spoil it! Read on, read on Grasshopper!

Well...if you are serious about using my deck here's the 411....you guessed
it....heres the deck!

POKEMON
2x Mr. Mime (in case of heavy hitters and rain dancers)

2x Jynx (underestimate it, and die!)
3x Abra (Nice first turner, there for evolution mainly)
3x Kadabra (Super Psy blows away other psi decks!)

2x Alakazam (best card in my binder, complete game control is sweeet!)

12x Psychic Energy

 3x Hitmonchan (Hitmonchan! Nuff said!)

1x Hitmonlee (another stall with 60 damage on Alakazam, Stretch Kick my
friend!)
10x Fighting Energy

 3x Double Colorless

2x Chansey (suck up the damage, and flush it all away!)

1x Kangaskahn (I search for it while battlin Dark Mind decks and Comet
Punch)

2x Scyther (no I'm not nuts..I use them like souped up Farfetch'd

against Haymakers)

Now for the part I like to read when I'm bored....the write up!

Match 1- vs. Steven
I'm mad, I battle this kid all the time with my Haymaker.....and lose. Heh
heh....he dosen't know that inside my deck box is....The Eliminator. I begin
using my annoying tactics (they anger my opponent....he can't focus....he
can't win) I do the Metronome (Yes....like Clefairy) and make goofy sound
effects whil shuffling. Hes confident for a few turns, until my Hitmonlee
kicked the $^#@%^$* out of his damaged Electabuzz. He continued to send up
more Lightning Pokemon and each one was met with a barrage of punches and
kicks. I had captured victory without even summoning up my decks full power!

Match 2- Charlie
This kid cheats....and is famous for it! Everyone watches him closely while
playing him and they still can't catch him red handed. I lost to him lots
when I started a few months ago, little does he know I've evolved into a
strong player who doesn't need to cheat. I call a judge on him and get his
deck counted, the judge notices something. His deck is all colorless and
contains 20 Double Colorless. I get a win by default and  decide to battle
him anyway. He sends up Snorlax and Chansey and I tip them over. He got one
KO by Double Edging one of my Chan. Another win!

Match 3- Thomas
I've watched him play a few times, his deck is in a sense the only deck that
is built to beat mine. The solid Psi Deck. I know I'm weak but he'll pay the
price as well, I just hope he hasn't caught onto the Dark Mind Deck yet. We
set up and I stay quiet, not as confident. I get Chan in my opening hand and
play it...I pray for Abra to show up. We flip and I see his starter, Gastly.
I had been turning this situation over and over in my head the night before.
Dark Mind.....defend with Colorless. I use Trader with a Lee and grab
Kangaskahn. I luckily hold DCE in my hand and enough energy. My Chan fell in
4 turns and by then Kang was primed and ready. He had evolved up to Gengar
with a Pokemon Breeder. I watched his face turn paler as I flipped my way
towards the win, eventually he had killed my Kang. I had been quietly
readying a Scyther, I came up and seeing victory, Slashed to take my last
prize. Game. Set. Match. Winner? Takeshi.

Finals-Matt
He plays anti-evolution. Lots of Energy Denial with Aerodactyl to stop
evolving while he smacks away with fighting and electric. Scary huh? Nah! I
start the game off right with Jynx and send his Chan packing. Thats 1! He has
played 2 Fossils to his bench, and I know whats coming! I defocus for a
moment and look around us, the table is surrounded by onlookers, the Pokemon
Theme song plays in my mind and I look at Matt with a smirk. I know I wanna
be the very best, and he can't stop me. I use Mr. Mime to Meditate towards a
win while I bring up Hitmonlee to knock out Fossils. In the end, he goes down
in flames.

I pulled it off...in one day I went from unknown to the poke guru. I was
swamped with people who wanted me to alter there decks to help them win. I
did so with a smile and at the end of the day I got my reward, I opened up my
prizes. 1 First Edition Base Set pack and 3 Japanese Gym Leader packs. The
First Edition one was the card everyone wants.....Charizard and I got some
tight Gym Leaders like Brock's Ninetales (heh....go figure). All in all one
of the best days

Heres some guidelines to becoming a true Pokemon master:
Don't cheat.....people look up to you
Play hard or go home
Never give up
Always drink a Slurpee in between matches (optional)
And most importantly.....Be original...its what America is all about...I
understand some decks are good but you've gotta follow your own path.
Heck....maybe fusing Haymaker and Raindance will work!!

Until next time.....Takeshi
