Today(11-14-99) I played at Mirkwood , in St. Paul MN.  I got 3-4 the
entire day I lost 4 times, 1 was just for fun, one was official and the
other 2 was in the top 4, and we were playing best 2 out of 3.  There
were about 30 people participating and a lot of them were in the top
100.

Match one:
I played some kid with a rainbow deck and right before i beat him he
realized he had more than 60 cards and took some out.  He got out an
abra, an electrode and a articuno the whole game and he only got 2
energy cards out and i used energy removal so he was screwed.

Match 2:
I played some little girl with a fighting fire deck. It took me awhile
to kill her magmar but i did.  here ponyta almost killed my 2
scythers,but i ended up winning by drawing all my prize cards.

Match 3:
This match i played a great haymaker but was deafeted quickly.  I only
drew 1 prize card. The entire match I only had a hitmonchan, an
electabuzz and 4 scyther.   I tried to conp. search for a prof. oak...at
the end of my game i looked at my prizes and the oaks were there.

Match 4:
I played some one with a haymaker.  I don't remember what happend in
betwwen the game but... At the end of the game he had 2 prizes left and
i had one there was no way he could not lose the next turn so i put my
hitmonchan out for the win.

Match 5:
I played some adult who was deafeted at the beginning.  I killed here
mewtwo with swords dance, slash.  Then she sent out clefable and then i
played hitmonchan with 1 energy attached and set down 2 plus powers and
searched for a third, jab, gone, she had no basics left.

Match 6:
I played an electric deck twice and woon both times.  The only reason i
won was because of my trusty hitmonchans, but my deck was hurt from the
bench attacks.

Match 7:
I played a haymaker and lost both times.  the first game I decked
myself, and neither of us drew many prizes, for some reason.  The second
game i got out 2 hitmonchan and one scyther and not much energy, lost
and got third or fourth that day and won 3 fossil boosters.
