Tournament Report

Last week I got 3rd out of 25[No TR from me on this], as said in the last
TR... but this week there's only 22, although competition looks tough. Magmar
is replaced by Mr. Mime in the deck, and another SER is added for an energy.
2 Bills are added to deck myself[oops] and speed up the deck. Mr. Mime is
intended to stop last week's doom -- Rain Dance. $5 entry fee, but everyone
gets a free hour of computer playing time at minimum.

Here's the Deck:

Mime's Modified Massacre

4x Hitmonchan -- Haymaker's Basic
4x Electabuzz(basic) -- Haymaker Basic 2
4x Mr. Mime -- Total Anti-Rain Dance and Anti-Scyther
4x Farfetch'd -- 2nd counter-Haymaker

4x Energy Removal
4x Professor Oak
3x Super Energy Removal

9x Psychic Energy
9x Electric Energy
10x Fighting Energy
3x Double Colorless Energy

Game 1 -- Against Haymaker. Lose due to Scyther locking down Hitmonchan. With
Hitmonchan retreating for two, I get to either let him die and build someone
else up or retreat him and waste time. He switches and Gust of Winds with
Mime, so Hitmonchan and Electabuzz can hurt him. Nothing works. Loss, 0-1, 0
Points.

Game 2 -- Against Grass Confuser/Paralyzer. It's actually my deck, loaned to
my friend(greatly annoying I have to play him). Electabuzz stops Venonat and
Oddish, and Mr. Mime hurts Koffing. Hitmonchan's special Punch helps in
stopping the attack of his last three Pokemon. I also to add insult to injury
use my ER's conveniently drawn to prevent Venomoth from taking a stand. Win,
1-1, 3 Points.

Game 3 -- Against another Haymaker. This time, Electabuzz takes out 2x Mr.
Mime although originally he has nothing to attack with. Scyther kills
Hitmonchan... and I'm out of Pokemon. I seriously cannot do anything when Mr.
Mime gets ER'd to death while being paralyzed every turn. This really is a
bad game... Loss, 1-2, 3 Points.

Game 4 -- Against a Water Deck. Articuno can't do very much against Mr. Mime.
Mime meditates. I counter by letting Electabuzz take out Lapras x3. The only
defense against my deck is his Confuse Ray, which I hurt myself on 4 of 5
times[thank you, replacement Electabuzz]. Simple game, yet fun. Win, 2-2, 6
Points.

And I don't make top 8. Specifically, I get 12th. I do trade in Blastoise,
Mr. Mime x2[don't like him anymore] and Hitmonlee holos for 2 packs of Gym 2
and 1 pack of Team Rocket. Pull ____'s Chansey[2nd], Geovanni's
Nidoking[2nd], TR's Zapdos[3rd, truly amazing card], Bad Vileplume[1st, very
nice against Haymaker, although not allowed :)]

Props to the store having all the Japanese packs :)
Props to them wanting Blastoise for $15 store credit.
Props to them wanting my Mr. Mimes.

Slops to me for playing 2 Haymakers.

Slops to the cocky kid in game 1 who wants to get taken outside...
Slops to Mr. Mime. Just totally.
