POKeMON TOURNAMENT

    This was a fair-sized tournament at my local store. My friend Aaron and I
went to it, I with this deck and he with his own grass/psychic creation,
(which i could NOT beat for some reason, lol). There were 3 rounds, of 3
games each, with the top two after these rounds playing for first and second,
and the next 2 people playing for 3rd and 4th.

Round 1: Opponent: Brother of "999 Hurley International" AKA my rival Sean.
Game 1: A quick electabuzz eliminates his only basic pokemon, a bulbasaur, on
turn 2.
Game 2: Long game, in which i use 3 professor oaks. My aerodactyl prevented
evolution for most of the       game, untill he killed it with a GoW and an
ivysaur. Eventually, i draw my sixth prize by finishing off his        
charizard with a thunderbolt from zapdos with only 3 cards left in my deck!
Game 3: another short one, electabuzz aided by a PlusPower, takes out his
only basic pokemon, a charmander,       on turn two.
Record: (3-0)

Round 2: Opponent: Du, AKA "dude", brother of "Frankie"
Game 1: Another drawn out game, i removed all the energy he drew but he kept
stalling w/scoop ups on his nearly      dead articunos. Eventually, zapdos
wins it for me, as i flipped heads on 4 thunder attacks in a row.
Game 2: Short one. His only basic is a scyther, killed second turn by a
PlusPowered electabuzz.
Game 3: I very nearly lost this one because i again prof. oaked 3 times.
Standoffish type game, with electabuzz's        trading thundershocks with
lickitung's toungue wraps. Eventually,  i was able to fully charge a zapdos
on      my bench and scoop up an electabuzz with 60 damage on it. Zapdos
promptly thunder'ed the lickitung, and      with the aid of a few PlusPowers,
took out his only other 2 basics, both holo scythers. man i want some holo     
scythers.....
Record: (6-0)

Round 3: Opponent: Derek, AKA "I've never seen this guy before in my life"
Game 1: zapdos is resistant to fighting, and his main threats were geodude
and hitmon(jackie)chan. 2 zapdos won        the game with 5 thunder attacks
and a thunderbolt to finish.
Game 2: He only drew one basic,  a basic set magmar (read: the kind with only
50 hp). My electabuzz took it       out on turn 2.
Game 3: Another long one. It comes down to me using 2 professor oaks on the
same turn to PlusPower my       electabuzz 3 times and deal 70 to his
hitmonchan before he could take advantage of the fact that      electabuzz is
weak to fighting.
Record: (9-0)

And on to the finals...
In the finals, i faced FRANKIE, my arch-nemesis. His deck was perfect to
defeat mine, and clefables destroyed me, metrognoming my zapdos's
thunderbolts for 100 damage. I took the second game, but he won the match,
leaving me with second place. Not bad!
