Today was Saturday, November 12th and I was all ready for the tournament.  It
was held at Eternal Elysuim in Aloha, Oregon. I had a deck that I played
there before and it did pretty well.  Now, I was sure I was going to get 1st.
There was about 15 people there so if I won I could get a lot of fossil
packs. The tourny didn't allow any promo cards or non released japanese cards
so I didn't have to worry about losing to a deck that I could have added some
of the cards to my deck.

    Ernie Le (Me) vs. James (I think)
    First turn, I went first and put down a Scyther and Staryu. James had a
Charmander and Pidgey. My turn I put a water energy on Staryu, retreated
Scyther and then slapped Charmander for 50 cause I put down a pluspower.  His
turn, he put down a double colorless and whirlwinded me for 10 and then I put
my Scyther out.  My, turn I comp searched for an Electabuzz and put him on my
benched an attached a lightning energy to him, retreated Scyther and shocked
(without paralysis) Pidgey for 20 and it was his turn.  His turn, he evolved
into Pidgeyotto and whirlwinded me again for my Scyther.  My turn I retreated
Scyther, attached another electric energy to my Buzz and then punched him for
the win.1-0

    Me vs. Stephen
    He went first. I put down a Buzz and he only put down a Sandshrew.  He
went first, attached a fighting energy to his shrew and attacked me for 20. 
My turn I put a Electric energy on my Buzz and then it wa his turn.  His
turn, he evolved his shrew into Sandslash and fury swiped me for 60 and he
got the win.1-1

    Me vs.  Mick
    I went first laying out a Scyther as active and Gastly as benched.  He
put down a Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan.  My turn, I layed out a psychic energy
on Gastly, retreated Scyther and then licked the Lee for 20 with paralysys. 
His turn he energized his benched Chan with fighting energy.  My turn,  I put
down a fire energy on Scyther and then I licked his Lee with paralysys.  His
turn, he energized his Chan once again but this time with a water energy.  My
turn I put down another psychic enrgy on Gastly and then super energy
removaled his Chan, licked his Lee into defeat.  His turn he comp searched
for somethin, then put down a fighting energy on Chan and then it was my
turn.  My turn, I put down a double colorless on Scyther and then licked his
Chan without paralysys.  His turn,  he put down another fighting energy on
his Chan and it was my turn again.  My turn,  I licked his Chan once again
without paralysys.  His turn,  he out down ANOTHER fighting energy on his
Chan and then punched me for 10.  My turn, I retreated my Gastly for Scyther
and slashed him for the victory cause he had no more basic.2-1

    Now it was the semifinals.  I and three others had the best record cause
about 4 of the participant's parents were mad that they lost the first game
and left.  I played for the first/second battle places against Seth.

    Me vs. Seth
    I went first starting out with Magmar and Electabuzz.  He had a Scyther
and Machop.  My turn I put down a fire energy on Magmar and smokescreened his
Scyther for 20.  His turn, he out down a leaf energy on his Scyther and then
swords danced to end his turn.  My turn, I put another fire energy on Magmar
and then pluspower/smogged his Scyther into destruction.  His turn, he put
down a fighting energy on his active Machop and low kicked me for 20.  My
turn, I put down a psychic energy on Gastly and discarded a fire energy for
Magmar for his retreat cost and then put out Gastly, then licked him with
paralysys.  His turn,  he energy removaled my psychic energy and then it was
my go.  My turn,  I put down my drown Buzz and also put another psychic
energy on my Gastly, attached pluspower, then licked for the victory.

    Finals
    Me vs. Chris
    I knew that I couldn't beat this guy.  So...... I did the next best
thing, I forfeited to him before we started.  He told me that he would gve me
some pax cause he didn't want to play me either.

    So....that was the tourny! I got some pretty good cards in the pax.
