The "Speedy Three" Deck


Most of my friends laughed when I told them about my new three collor deck
that I had constructed for the upcoming tournement, but after i tested it out
on them, they were awed at its speed and strength and 2 of my friends copied
it because it was that good.

I didn't think to write down this deck or send it in right after the
tournament which was held on July 10 at Wizards of the coast in the Kitsap
Mall, but I do have my score card witch has 16 wins and 2 losses on it putting
me in second place. One of my friends got first place and he took great pains
to avoid coming up against me. at the time my deck had 4 energy removals and 3
gust of winds but not getting basics about 4 times durring the tournament made
swap them out for another scyther and electabuzz. the whole purpous of this
deck is speed, I tried to put out a scyther as my active if I could because of
no retriet cost, lots of people there were using colorless pokemon with
weakness to fighting, and there precious birds all had weakness to lightning
so the were pretty much screwed. There were lots of people playing lightning
decks that relied on zapdos electrode or riachu to do any real damadge and
those decks just took to long to energize. using the oaks can be sort of risky
if you have to go into a prolonged game and worryind about running out of
cards or loosing most of your energy of 1 type, but thats what energy
retrievals are for.
